It's a decent chance to get banned using cheat engine as you can easily get million super wheelspins and other stuff in game. At least don't go online if you want to try it.

Yeah I think it's bugged, I can't seem to trip it and I noticed a thread on the fm.net forums about it as well.

I am addicted hard. I kept meaning to end my session so I could work out. Hours later and I finally stopped. Debating picking up a wheel & pedal set. Let me know if there are any good recommendations. Otherwise, I might just pull the trigger on the Logitech G920.

Whats your budget? if its between 200-250 than the G920 + shifter is a great wheel, but if you can go higher i would look for a Fantec or Thrustmaster series with LCM pedals and TH8a shifter. But the price will be much much higher like between 500 - 800. I had the Thrustmaster begin of last gen but the FFB stopped working after 2 years so i switched to G920 and its a great wheel for its price. Fantec and Thrustmaster have better wheels with better FFB but they are more expensive for the full setup.

Under $300 for sure for the wheel & pedals. I'm looking at a rig as well. I see the Playseat Challenge Black is also $250. That puts the total at $500 and should be good. No clue about the rig though. I could build my own using scrap wood but I am lazy.

Loving the game so far but it is killing me they didn't include an option to select which monitor to play on. This should be SOP for a AAA PC release these days.
Having to force it by using Steam Bug Picture which fucks up other things I'm doing.

Shame it's going to be next week before the wheel & rig arrive. The shifter ship time is atrocious by comparison though.
Now if only the game supported VR.

Is there a way to turn off all this notifications that are appearing on the screen? Drift points, clean racing, found new road and so on every second there is something flashing on the screen.
Also I am not sure how to play this game, I tried to go to a new event and I get a warning that I will lose my progress from the current event. How can I check which event I am playing? Is there a progress route which I have to take? Are the festivals "main story"?

I did the Goliath race and did a Super 7 that featured an old 80s car, sunset drive on the beach, with some classical 80s pop playing in the background. Super chill and makes me really want a proper Outlast/80s inspired racer.

So is there any way to customize or influence your drivatar? Are there settings for it, or is it all automated? I’m very curious about this feature. I’ve seen similar things in some fighting games before, where they use player data to try and recreate someone. But it’s never been all that convincing in the past.

I'm really liking that they've taken the brick challenges from the Lego expansion and incorporated them into this game as accolade challenges. I've been tearing through the accolade challenges all day. Some of these require pricey cars but I'm only missing a couple from the stunt challenges not. I wish there were more double challenges (3-star drift at two different locations in a set time) an hope they get into even bigger challenge chains. It makes redoing events worthwhile.

Progression and finishing first in this one in challenges along with accolades feels the best yet.
This game outpaces 4 in every way, 3 will always have that special Australian spot and I would have to revisit it’s been awhile.

I have 600k+ points in accolades. I returned to Forza Horizon 3 and bucket list challenges shit from the top of the mountain on both accolades and story chapters from Forza Horizon 5.

It crossed 8 million a little while ago. Well deserved.
Played the weekly championship with muscle cars through the rain. The AI cheated like a bastard but had heaps of fun.

Do you have to win or just compete? I haven't done this one yet either.The only thing I have left is Horizon Arcade Any Event for this season, this shit feels broken as but as I’m solo which makes it impossible or players who don’t compete making it even worse with higher limits

Question: Is there a mechanic where the cars go slower as time goes on?
I am trying to do a race that is basically "First to get 100 points wins" and it's easy doing 4 laps and getting 20 points, but at that time the car just slows down and can't get to higher gears to a point where at the end it seems luck if i can go at 95 miles per hour and every car gets so far it's impossible to win, is this just some weird bug only occuring to me!?
Or is this the game punishing me for having the gear shifts be automatic and handled by the game rather than doing them myself, it's just really weird.

Just buy the Xbox headset and use Spotify (or equivalent) from your phone. You can even adjust the mix between game and phone with the left wheel.

Sounds like you have mechanical damage turned on, turn it off in the difficulty settings
and that will do the trick.

Is your headset just grabbing the stereo mix for your PC? You'd think you could just open your music in the background and disable the game music.

Yes it does, FH4 runs well as well. Of course, it all depends on where you are relative to the servers but if you've got one close by, it runs really well.

I used to have a three screen setup and wheel and would only play in bonnet view, I’ve never liked how the cockpit view look tbh, too much stuff in the way. But I’ve gone full on casual this time, now I sit in the couch and play with controller and TV/projector and use chase cam. It still plays great that way too though!

They have vehicle requirements. When the event is selected press in on the right thumbstick to see. Rating is the max & usually some specific car group.
