lol this is Forza horizon 5 all over again. Looks pretty much identical. Basically PC low vs high settings.
Way to cherry-pick. PS5 is on a completely different level as far as geometry, textures, effects, draw distance, etc. Go watch more comparison videos.

Holy moly that review was tough. I’ll still buy it in a few months but I’m expecting something similar to HZD.Eurogamer review also criticizes heavily the game, basically says that it has not very much going on for it except for visuals.
If it were scored it would be 6 or 7 at maximum I guess

some gushing reviews and some that are highlighting the games issues. im sure it will land in the middle for me. I always trust ACG, and he was thoroughly impressed so we’ll worth grabbing at some point.

Just one example but go to 9:40. The geometry and texture work on PS5 is significantly more detailed. Like it’s not even close. That applies across the entire game.

Fantastic scores for the game in total through - really looking forward playing it. Only thing that I want to understand is Linneman's comment regarding resolution vs performance on the PS5. I would have guessed performance is the way to go but his comments have made me curious.

Unfortunately this is why the review system is broken.
Too many clickbait sensational "opinions" contribute to the average and too many fanboys doing this stuff.
We all know that many really high or really low scores are just due to bias and many reviewers are just shills.
It happens everytime when a game is exclusive or made by certain developers. It's not just this game.

Was just spoiled of a gameplay feature they kept secret and
I can't believe they managed to implement flying with that game's level of fidelity on a base PS4. I'm very curious to see it in action for myself.
Also crazy that they'd rather keep that secret to wow players than flaunt it on trailers... But then again, it will give the game visibility when the videos of it start popping up on social media.

But to be fair it’s rare to be fully unbiased. Are you? I’m not. It’s okay as far as I’m concerned but I think critics have to tone it down or have second opinions from someone with different bias.

As we are at that GOW is absolutely worst first party AAA game of previous generation. It's so bad that it not only made me physically ill after few hours it also made me not want to play any games for few weeks. It's slow, boring, with claustrophobic and designed around useless gimmick of no cut camera which is thrown away every time you go to inventory. Dead Space and HL did it better even if they had loading screens due to technical limitations of hardware of their time.
Also Gears 5 is best third person shooter of last generation by a mile.

CDPR whole pathos is in storytelling and characters over everything else. Thats why they are unmatched in sidequests, they treat them as important as the main path story.
