The 3070 should give the best performance as long as the pc version hasn't been kicked out the door as an after thought. But if your not going to wait for reviews and pre order or something the ps5 is the safest bet.

Trans women are not equivalent to biological women for the simple fact they can't have children or have periods. One is natural. The other requires surgery and lifetime of hormones.

This isn't an insult it's just FACTS. Transgenders should be respected as should anyone. But respect doesn't mean denying facts. Some people are short, some people tall, some well endowed, some not, it's just the roll of the dice called life. We are not all equal when it comes to certain things and that's OK.

Your laptop probably has better specs, but we don't know how well optimized the game will be.

PS5 and XSX will probably be comparable , and I'm not sure how much fun it would be to play this on a laptop screen compared to the TV. You could wait until Digital Foundry releases a video on it but if you want to be safe, I would go PS5 (Because of Dual Sense) > XSX > Laptop in that order. A 60 FPS mode has been confirmed for consoles.

no, but she very likely receives royalties (probably something like $2/copy) for each sale. Era is big mad because JK uses her money and influence towards politicians/laws that in their eyes hurt the rights of transpeople.

The sad part is the trans community there is a minority that has Era by the balls. The community knows it and the half of the mods that don't agree with some of the hardline insanity know it too. But they've got enough people in mod/admin positions that there's not really anything they can do. That's why there's "no discussion of or advocation" in regards to the ban itself -- they know they wouldn't win and any thread would just devolve into a screaming match.

The saddest part is I'd be willing to say the vast majority of the Era community does actually support LGBTQ+ rights and has no issue with any of them. But continuously calling people transphobic or a piece of shit for wanting to play a video game isn't how you keep people in your corner. The continuous gatekeeping, morality tests and virtue signaling grows tiresome. They've got to learn that there IS a difference between someone that actually dislikes your very existence and someone who's enjoying a piece of entertainment that gives a downstream dollar to someone that dislikes you. I have gay/bi friends that love HP, hate JKR, and are excited to play the game. It pains them to be buying something that will in some form give her money, but they're also grown up and mature enough to realize that you can't go your whole life avoiding buying something from people who you disagree with. I have a friend where at least 20% of what he sends me is about how trans folk are being wiped out by bigots like JKR. The stuff is so over the top that I have no energy to even engage and I don't think I've ever even reacted to any of those messages but still they come. I'm judging him by my standards and I'm probably very weird compared to the average human but I'd say he's otherwise pretty normal.
