Keep in mind, this is before the PS4/Xbox One and Switch releases in April as well

right, this is only physical games. digital sales on console aren't counted yet and then you still have PC sales.

and then like you say we're still waiting for PS4/XB1/Switch versions. A lot of people still don't have a PS5/XSX or a PC. Shit is gonna sell like crazy.

They are 2-3 seconds at their very worst, and they only generally are that long when you go from inside to outside or vice versa. Otherwise, there is very little loading, so calling load times dogshit is a bit ridiculous.

The only loading screens I get are when fast travelling which are 2-3 seconds, but I rarely fast travel because the world is too good for that, going from inside to outside in Hogwarts I get a slight freeze and spinning blue circle that lasts barely half a second.

Yeah i was the same. I was waiting for a quest explaining it or something but I asked on here and someone said it's the dillusionment charm you use lol.

They have a BUTTload of gold in the ones I opened. Went from not having nearly enough gold for all the stuff I wanted at the start to having nothing to spend it on after 20hrs (which of course I did, I've played the damn game for 20hrs)

It's one of the first things they tell you how to do in there, use the big station that was already in when you got in

You might have removed it if you went on a big deleting spree, just plop it back down from the tools menu

Massive success for Avalanche. Hopefully they greatly increase the budget and studio size for the inevitable sequel. Having such a solid foundation with HL, the sky is the limit for the future iterations.

Nah it doesn't add the solution, it adds numbers around the edges so I don't have to look at the picture I took of the key on my phone every time, or go into the inventory and open the note.

You just have to look at the door frame and count. It's in order, 0 to 9 I believe...

It's pretty constant as you level, but your talents make you so much more powerful I haven't found it be a nuisance.

Yeah I just realised that all too late haha. Before I found the note I was trying to count appendages and it almost works. 1 unicorn horn, 3 hydra heads, 5 legs on the crab thing, 8 legged spider, last thing has 9... heads or necks.

I think I'm honestly going to slide the difficulty up, because once you get into the counter system game on normal is super easy.

If you out level you can usually kill in a single combo or 2. If you are out leveled it will take a few. I've killed thing 10 levels above me with a little work. They also hit harder. It's not too bad.

Leveling slows down a lot around level 30, unless you grind.

It seems to be although some are kinda shit. The Octopus looking thing represents 7 with 4 visible tentacles. Couldn't believe it took me that long to realise they were just in order clockwise though.

Try it although when I cranked mine up some fights were killing me in 2 hits. Kinda wish there was a level in-between. Don't need my comfy HP game to quite be Dark Souls but it's a shame that normal is mostly very easy, there's an arena that made me use a few pots and that's about it.

Why would it be a given? Flying on a broom is cool, but it's not nearly refined enough to make quidditch fun.
I truly enjoy the potterverse, but i'll never understand the love of quidditch.

It's a Harry Potter staple isnt it? Any excuse to use the broom more is fine with me, though i do agree it needs to be refined.

Tbh im not a huge HP fan, however i do love this game because its a solid RPG.

Am I the only one disappointed with student dialogue? It's like those unnamed NPCs are just talking to themselves instead of with each other. :-/ Sometimes it's almost like a conversation.. almost.. Maybe it's just a bug that delivers the lines out of order?

Seems to me the devs just assume most people will just run past them and just catch snippets of dialogue, it's only really the random events that play out like real conversations.

Stealth is pretty OP in this game and in most scenarios gives a valid alternative to a straight up fight. I prefer concentrating on keeping a rotation of spells going constantly (the ABCs of ‘always be casting’) but it’s nice to see they have options for different playstyles.

It seems cabbages are a broken build. Combine them with tentacula for shield breaking and put on plant damage trait on your gear and everything melts.

And to be fair I have some laziness in my own play-style: I don’t think I’ve bothered blocking anything in the last 20 hours of play. I kinda just look at it like the Arkham games where since the dodge button covers everything and it’s more forgiving on timing so it’s like why would I bother countering?

Yeah did one mission completely in stealth and even named "boss" enemies died in one stealth takedown.
Felt nice doing some splinter cell like gameplay.

Yeah the thestrals aren’t that hard to come by. It’s the unicorns that are a pain in the ass as far as getting a pair (think they only spawn one at a time, and I think there’s only the one spot that they spawn).

It’s mainly that it’s 50/50 on male/female, so if you’re like me it’s like flipping a coin 50 times and getting heads every time when I need tails . LoL doesn’t help that there are shiny versions ala Pokemon the evil bastards .
