Yes it's 60 FPS on the modern consoles, and I don't think there is a day 1 patch so the version you've got is the latest.
Thank you mate! Cant wait! i can't believe it's actually 60fps and looking good, after years of people saying it's only tech demo/will be slideshow on consoles, awesome work from the devs it seems. :)

I hope this gets bashed to oblivion for cringe terrible dialogue just because Forspoken got destroyed imo very undeservedly. japanese charm gets destroyed and this gets a pass? Fuck no.
And Forspoken plays great and it's genuinely a good game

It will 100% get overlooked. lol Interesting bit here though:

Doesn't bother be a ton but I do find the double standards interesting.....

I really hope square enix is paying you, because for the last month or two you've been making random posts like this about that game as of it's just been criminally done wrong with the reception received. I beat it, i can post my playtimes if you like, it had a few ideas here and there but it got what it deserved lol

Looks like it's well optimised on PC,so you won't need a 4090 with DLSS to play it at 4k.I haven't played it properly yet as the controls seem to be weird on the DualSense, but I'm getting 50-60ps everything maxed out in 4k on a 6800 without FSR

Probably because it lacks rtx.

Since you specified pc gamepass, is it something you do outside of the game or in the ingame options? Like do i have the option inside the game on the steam version?
I have all languages right in the ingame menu.

And holy shit the atmosphere of this game is good. If it keeps up like it has first 90 minutes I am going to be in 9 or 10 territory.

Game looks stunning on PC too (4K all maxed, DLSS quality) and no stutters or dips. Playing on TV with controller.

OK, the loot mechanic should be an option in more games. Holding down the button and just walking around and looting anything that can be looted is so nice.

Anyway, I'm digging it so far. I gotta finish Hogwart's first but the game oozes style and I really like what combat I've played. It definitely has that Eastern European funk to it and I'm totally disappointed the console version doesn't let me choose other languages.

Also, the "Forsaken was actually good, this is a double standard" crowd are already annoying.

The previews always gave me the impression of a UE (asset flipped) tech demo so not surprised its not reviewing all that well. The gunplay looks terrible.. which is the main reason to play a shooter.

Oh really? Damn, I remember this game being one of the first ones showing off RT reflections when Nvidia announced their 2000 series, weird that the final product doesn't have it.
Not 100% sure about this but from the feedback here on gaf it looks like it's true.

Maybe a bug.

Game is great so far. Playing on series x, and it looks and runs great. Just confused how to turn the audio to Russian. The language settings just turns the text to another language. Unless it’s bugged. Game also needs a photomode and a way to disable the hud. The big yellow top left marker is so distracting. Otherwise everything is great. The juvenile dialogue makes me laugh, especially from Nova, or whatever it’s called. Hope it keeps it up the entire way through.

The gameplay overall looks a little tedious, but there are some interesting puzzle elements and approaches to its presentation that make me still want to atleast check it out... eventually.

70-ish means ok,not great. I've played plenty of games like that and enjoyed them. Already have it preinstalled so might as well give it a shot. I'm not paying any more/less.
Exactly. We praised games that reviewed like this in the past. Think of all those B games we loved on the PS2/GameCube/Xbox. Mother fucking PsyOp’s and The Suffering. Games weren’t amazing, but they were good fun.

Looks interesting enough, but definitely a euro jank game so I'll wait for sale.

Forespoken is PS5 console exclusive and was one of the earlier PS5 showcases.

To be fair, I only knew of Atomic Hearts existence a few months ago, which is to say, most people probably don't care much.

Because the game is very good and people are stupid for listening to reviews.
And yes. Square Enix is paying me to BANG YOUR MUM

Does anyone know if it utilizes haptic feedback and trigger effects on the PS5?
Just found this

“In a recent interview, Mundfish Founder and Game Director Robert Bagratuni confirmed that DualSense controller features like haptic feedback and adaptive triggers will be available in Atomic Heart. However, those features would only be exclusive to the PS5.”

I've always felt pretty weird about this game, but I'll check it out on Game Pass soon enough. Looks like people dig it, people hate it, and some are somewhere in the middle. Curious to know where I'll land on it.

Here we go....lol
Ree already up at arms.

A lot of folks already suspected something like this happening after folks were digging into the connection with the Atomic Heart devs and Russia. A lot of it was apparently clarified by the devs, but that's not enough for these kind of people.

I'm really getting tired of this whole attempt to video game boycott thing. It's already so incredibly tiresome.

Saw a couple people asking about bullet sponge enemies in the game. On hardest even in the later diffs for sure not. If you don't read the tooltips you could miss that you do need to upgrade weapons and moves and abiltities. And doing so even on the hardest diff there isn't any enemy I would say is bullet spongy. At least beyond their ability to soak damage as enemies or being made of metal and not instantly going down like say a human.
The game in fact is very clear about how to combine moves, cartridges and needing to when facing groups.

But this is on game pass. j/k

I tend to like bad dialogue, especially if I can get a laugh out of it. I haven’t played Forspoken yet. I will the day it his Extra. I wouldn’t be playing Atomic Heart, unless it was on game pass.

I think that’s the difference though. I think there’s more people shitting on Forspoken because they haven’t/aren’t playing it. While a lot of people will at least try Atomic Heart, due to be on a subscription service.

I bought a sex doll, but I keep it inflated 100% of the time and use it like a regular wife
Back from work, gonna give the game another go on PC.

Installation size has gone from 50 to 75 GBs, so I guess something must have changed. :goog_relieved:

Review thread is updated. Sadly it's not good :(
What is good? On PC it is at 79 with one bad review, 2 70s and the rest are 75 or better. That seems like the reception is not bad.
not a high 80 so the game must be shit

peepo-g.gif
Basically how I am reading some people. FFS Dragon's Dogma had a similar score. Mid - upper 70s is often where you find games that are more fun than some of the samey, high production value, megahits.

What controller are you using? I'm using my PS5 controller, and the right stick is used to turn the camera, but the left stick is walking and turning the camera at the same time,it's fucking annoying

Does it give a satisfying challenge on Hard mode in your opinion?

Also what did ypu think about the lack of a run button?

I've been following this game since way back when it was thought to be smoke and mirrors and vaporware scam.
Reviews seem decent.
Got it preloaded but wont be able to play till late Tuesday.

Psi ops WAS amazing.

Still the best control scheme for telekinetic power ever made.

Checked out some of the reviews and it's been about what I expected. I have it pre-ordered and don't intend to cancel. Actually in the mood for a kind of game like this. Still haven't checked out Skill Up's review on it. Was planning to watch Return of the King tonight, maybe I'll spend that time watching Skill Up's review instead.

Forspoken dialogue is not even that bad. It's a fish out of water story. The character got an arc which dialogue serves the point to. People just judged the whole game with the tweet months ago.
I would wait for promised performance patch and get it then

Didn't this guy refuse to review Hogwarts Legacy because he wasn't given a free copy?

I think I will stick to believing what GGManLIves and ACG have to say over this dude. He has lost all integrity and credibility in my eyes over his last few months of reviews.
