Nothing wrong with brand loyalty imo. As long as you don't get emotionally invested. I love kirkland brand items for example. That's costcos brand. They always seem to be of high quality and cost less than the name brands. I'm also not going to cry about it if someone says they hate it and tells me sams club brand is better. I might argue a bit but it's not going to ruin my day.

We dropped our Costco membership years ago but I get the appeal. I'm just grateful I never have to willingly go there ever again. I would routinely tell my wife, "Welcome to middle class hell," when we pulled into the parking lot. There's something about masses of people gathered in a relatively small location that makes me hate humanity. Probably a good thing I live in the middle of nowhere.

The only brand I would consider giving my loyalty to is Schiit.

My particular location isn't that busy most of the time. Thank God. I go about twice a month. Maybe three. I can't ignore the savings on some items. I just bought kirkland brand 5 hour energy shots. I get 40 of them for 35 bucks. That's a crazy savings over how much those little bastards cost everywhere else. I never developed the taste for coffee and sodas are filled with sugar of course. At least the tasty ones. Anyway, enough Costco shilling. I don't want anyone to think I'm some plant by costco corp.

Cheap gas for my truck and the loss leads work. Wife wants to make enchiladas? Pick up a whole cooked chicken for $6 and grind that fucker up. At the dispensary next door? Might as well get a hot dog and lemonade for $1.50, oh and while I’m here I do need a 50lbs bag of grass fertilizer and traeger pellets and…I’m out $151.50 now

It's amazing how quickly you can spend money there.

I succumbed and bought a second portable aircon preemptively, before the price ramps up in June. I'm not doing 37°C again.🫠

I should do that too.

The one I have now is about 5-6 years old and not blowing as cold as it used to. It's just May and my areas has already had a 30c+ heatwave.

Summer is not going to be good if this keeps up. Speaking of which, shit's on fire here and it's way too early for it. A couple towns are being threated and 29,000 people have been evacuated.

Until you're dealing with 48-49c I dont want to hear your pissy shit

As someone that had to work in side of a small steel vessel that was heated to 420f (215c) in order to weld hundreds of clips to the inside of it, I'll take my AC at 30c thank you. And as Canadian, I'd rather experience -49c (which I have, a few months ago) then +49c.

I just got under 190 for the first time since like middle school, so middle age isn’t going too poorly for me.
Kick ass. That's right around my goal weight. I've got a pretty good exercise routine going on. I need to get my diet dialed in. Which is always the trick it seems.

No drinking + low carb + exercise = 💪

Keeping it in the 180s is my goal, for my height <195 is normal BMI so that’s a little buffer. It helps that the wife is very fitness/health oriented and I’ve got a very flexible job situation.

No, wired works as one'd expect. Just BT having weird ass sync issues.

Yeah seems like it. I'm abroad right now and only packed the shitty earphones, not the proper BT headphones I use.
I may be late to reply to you, so I don't know if it has been fixed since. If not try disabling your bluetooth in your parameters, repairing your headset and if not reinstall your bluetooth drivers, I had that same problem once and one of these solutions worked but I can't remember which one.

Or is it just one of Phil's balls in my throat?

Thanks, will check these steps out!

While I do ache from random shit from time to time, I can still get a boner and I’m way less poor than I was 10 years ago, so late 30s ain’t bad at all.

We’ve reached the “kids next door want our kids to come over and play and/or go to the park with them” phase, oh god….

Look there are some families in the hood I’m alright with but the lady that pushed out 9 kids and has a political bumper sticker I can’t mention here………..uhhhh…….

I’m hoping to get back down to 150 but people keep bringing in treats to work. 😕

I'm sympathizing with this so hard. I work onsite 1 or 2 times a week, and each time I go in I go and pilfer the snack corners of different departments, including my own. I feel like an alcoholic, but the sweet tooth version of it.

As long as I'm at around 180 lbs (decent for my height) I'll be fine, but I'd like to be closer to 170.
