Depends on whether your goal is to look like the sex you've transitioned to or just play dress up.

For me, the real transgenders are those who A) have gender dysphoria and B) successfully altered their appearance, mannerisms and outlook to the point they can easily 'fool' other people into thinking they are the gender they have transitioned to. Is it really that hard to see what they are going for? It is not about bigots, it is about bias and that bias can be very subtle. When most of the creators are white, the characters they create are mostly from a white perspective. They are trying to get people to ask if they are being biased. So what if they overreact, the pendulum always swings back a little and eventually arrives at some equilibrium.

You hate that some people have this idea and you want to burn them down, have them lose their jobs, have their families suffer, etc. because they think this very simple idea is important. You can make a difference on a micro level. I've deradiclised a fair share of people on the left and the right in my own circle. Just understand the subject first of all and focus on the actual problamatic issues, i.e women spaces in sports and not "men are just pretending to be women". - This seems to be a video specifically for Miles and looking at the incomplete facial animations/lip sync, it seems it was done before the game came out to see if they got the minorities right. Doesnt seem like a diversity training video to me.
- If this was shown to the entire company then thats fucked up because you are basically putting your writers on blast for getting stuff wrong. there are other better ways of doing this like getting actual cultural professors who could provide critique in other formats instead.
- Getting non gamers to review even cultural aspects of this stuff is bizarre to me. They dont play games. Who gives a shit about their opinion? No other industry would do this. Imagine the movie industry asking gamers to critique their representation or sports teams consulting college kids on who to draft as the next quarterback.

I'd give the game a 4.5 out of 5.the original 2018 Spiderman gets a 5 out of 5 from me. And I'm half way through Spiderman 2 and so far I'd give it a 4 out of 5. I really like it alot, but it's slightly below the other two games.

Just write stories, if you feel like something else needs to be included and talked about, but it has no bearing on the story, then it's worthless and needs to be thrown out; it just take the focus away from the narrative because you felt the need to signal something for real world reasons/activism.
That is not to say you can't include stuff "outside of the norm", but it can't rob the focus from the story you're actually telling, which is often the case when you're just running down a checklist; ridiculous visual signals and exposition dumps created purely for the audience will be the result instead of characters feeling like their own thing, and is how your audience immediately feels something is off because basically being subjected to a lecture.
