I'm going to be ordering my cpu this week. Either the 3500 or 3800. I'm not concerned about benchmarks or anything like that, but actual in game performance. I assumed the extra $300 for the 3800 would give me a much better in game performance and longer life before I had to upgrade. But, someone told me this...
If that's the case I could put the $300 to something useful...
I don't think you will notice a big difference between the two in game
play maybe a 1 frame difference or less. The $300.00 price difference
for an extra 200MHz is not worth it IMO because the extra 200 MHz
is only good for benchies. Now if it were something like 400-600 MHz
extra then it would make a difference in gaming and be worth it.
If that's the case I could put the $300 to something useful...
