This game looks a lot like a prom night. Seems a lot of interesting stuff is going to happen but everyone fumballs everything when they're in the end-zone.

If we don't score five past Cuba at least then that's gonna be embarrassing.

Well, good luck in the next one.
Thanks but its more likely that Costa Rica gets their first win of 2015 on us.

We had some interesting combinations in the center of the field, but impotent in the final third. Hard to see how they're going to conjure up any goals. The lack of size makes crosses useless.

they're all blue n white lol

Yeah, the uniforms were similar. Going off Osorio's post I also looked up the flags and history and am surprised that there were so many temporary unions in Central America!

Well, hopefully another tie and 1 point then!

Why is there no coach ? Visa problems?

There's always little in the way of English language reports.

It's not clear even in Spanish reports. The team doctor is with the coach as well? I believe they all have visa issues, but nothing is clear.

Of course, the websites from Cuba are not sharing any such information.

The game should have been a lot closer. Those two early mistakes by Guatemala really set the tone for the rest of the game. I am proud that they continued to play and where able to look dangerous in the second half. Carlos Ruiz scoring is always a positive.

Cuban players missing confirmed as Adrian Diz, Arichel Hernandez, Daniel Luis, Andy Vaquero, Maikel Reyes and Sandy Sanchez (plus defector Keiler Garcia). Presumably all were playing against Antigua in the Olympic qualifiers. CFU don't publish details so it's difficult to find out.

Did their coach leave too?
