I have a row of flats next to me, and one night I went to let the cat out and I saw some movement through a gap in the curtains. It was something rapidly moving back and forward, so I looked at it for a moment, and realised it was a foot stuck up in the air. They must have heard me because soon after the curtain was firmly closed.

Yup. One day I was leaving out my apartment to go to work and I heard a girl moaning and banging. So I stop and listen at my neighbors door and he is getting it in. Slapping ass and everything.

In my old apartment, there was this tiny girl who lived upstairs. Never heard a peep.

Then she got this 6'4" boyfriend, who probably weighed 240, and heard him stomping around a lot.

Also heard the bed creaking. It'd always start around like 12:15am or something, and last until 12:25am or so.

Until one time, when there was a gigantic crash from above, as the bed had collapsed. Sounded like the ceiling was coming down. I don't think they could look at me with a straight face after that.

Nope but I'm positive people have heard us, even when in "noise-proof" hotel rooms which are less fucking noise-proof than a normal house from the experience of the ones we've been in. Not quite sure what I'd think or do if I heard it from someone else, nothing out of the ordinary I suppose as long as it's not keeping me awake. I used to live on the 1st floor of a duplex by myself, and the upstairs neighbors were a couple of newlyweds in their mid/late twenties. I heard them having sex pretty often. I don't know what to say about it other than that. OP is this something you hear often and have a problem with or what?

I used to hear my neighbor very loudly banging into my wall, and sometimes I even heard her loud moan through the wall and window. I wasn't surprised at all when I saw her bed's headboard against my wall when I went over a few times.

I didn't really care very much, to be honest. Though I sometimes worried she'd knock my shelves on the wall down...

In college I use to live in a complex of townhouses, so everyone was really close together. My room was overlooking the backyard, with the bed right against the window with it wide open for maximum coolness. About once a week or so in the summer I'd hear some woman from one of the nearby houses having very loud sex. I was always a little tempted to yell "SHUT UP" and see what would happen. It just kind of annoyed me because there was lots of young children in the area who would know doubt hear that, it just seemed like a selfish thing to do.
