Great update and great excuse to go bacx to a great game. It really was a bit too "low fi" even compared to its inspirations but since it was mostly an one man project at the time that was fine. I guess it's done well all these years and platforms later so they could invest in doing this. Very nice.

It's pretty cool they've enhanced level geometry even, not just models and textures. It's quite an extensive upgrade. I do wonder if it may clash with some design decisions, if they're not quite as low fi compatible as say, the Quake and Quake II remaster, hopefully you can strike a good balance.

Finished it recently and never felt it was missing something visual-wise or needed an (HD) update. It feels very coherent. But if this helps to attract a new audience who would have ignored this great game otherwise, I'm down for it.
