Or is it just one of Phil's balls in my throat?
Excellent.

Fallout 4 GoTY edition (with all the DLC) is currently on sale for just $9.99 on XBL.

If it's like Witcher, they might increase the price permanently after this update comes out.

I'm relieved to hear this will work on Steam Deck, but at a same time I know how Bethesda tends to bork mods with each of their updates, so I'm cautiously optimistic

Sheesh, about time! I've been wanting to replay this badly, both due to the show but also just because it's been forever.

Another 100+ hours incoming!

Welp, time to jump back in suppose - only played it for 5-6 hours 4 years ago since I found it to be...not good.

Gimme all the FPSs - will try to play this on my PS portal and see whether it's portable friendly as a game 😁

Cool I have I have it in my library yet I don't recall purchasing it. Checked and it was part of the free ps+ library for ps5 launch 🤘

So they didn't backport Starfield's engine upgrades? Bummer. I guess downtown Boston will always run like shit. No mods or hardware could prevent that area from nosediving. ☹️

Can finally ditch that 1280x1024 5:4 monitor and head to the dizzying heights of 16:9 and beyond on PC. My 3090 gonna cry, next gen is finally here guys :messenger_grinning_sweat:

Awesome I'll check it out. I got a cloud saved game file from the Xbox One days I dabbled with years ago when I got X. It got boosted to 60 fps. But I dont remember if resolution got boosted too. Will be interesting to see what kind of improvements there are.

My saved game was probably done about 25% of the map and I quit playing. Maybe I'll get back into it, but I dont think I would slog it starting from scratch.

I wondered if they'd be holding off until the show released. Good on them, so many were labeling them as liars, lol. Good to see them deliver.

Do you can give me advice on Mods i would need for Fallout 4 VR? I wanna play it.
I got you!

There are a bunch of mods and I recommend running it vanilla first to make sure everything is firing before you start modding, but once you're there ---

First, head on over to Nexus Mods

  • FRIK - Full Player Body with IK
    Contrast Adaptive Sharpening for VR
  • More Accurate Weapons
  • Fallout 4 VR Optimization Project
  • Improved Reflex Sight Reticle Visibility - VR
  • PipBoy VR light

I'm not exaggerating when I say the VR port completely changed my perspective on FO4. I thought it was a bad game until I played this version, now it's one of my favorites. Suddenly escort missions and fetch quests feel way more engaging, and the detail in environments blows pretty much every other VR title away.

Bought the season pass now that it's cheap, already had the base game. Hope the save doesn't get corrupted this time around.

Makes sense. Perfect time to capitalize on it.

I think alot of starfield fans are gonna go back and go "oh wait, no loading and interesting open world is actually better, the normies arent crazy"

i expect this will affect mods, so i;ve got the GOG version to try it out on as my steam fallout 4 i wont let update until the mods i use get updated.

Xion_Stellar

People should stop referencing data that makes me feel uncomfortable because games get ported to platforms I don't like
So I'm going to have to disable auto updates in case this breaks the Fallout London mod that comes out on the 23rd

I tried installing F4 last month but quickly uninstalled in fear of me hating it for lacking RPG elements. I heard its mostly just a shooter.
