Now it's time for Daigo to shine, his Guile is honed enough after the sparring sections at eleague.

Last year, NCR had both smash melee and smash 4 back to back as the 3rd and 2nd game. This year, no melee at all.

I may not have time to watch NCR SFV Top 32 down to Top 8 live on Saturday night. Do you think Capcom will have it uploaded in time to watch on Sunday before Top 8 occurs that evening?

It should be on Capcom Fighters YouTube channel a couple of hours afterwards. Provided the internet is good enough at the venue

Oh nice Marvel 3 exhibition 3v3...

Wait one of the team has RyanLV in it... RIP in peace unless it's a different format where everyone has to play and perform.

RyanLV has been undefeated and won 6 big tournaments in a row in Marvel 3.

Just looking at entries for SFV, last year, Hypespotting had a full 256 man bracket for SFV and capped it long before emergency registration. This year is at 160, although I don't know if Hypespotting is doing emergency registration this year.

In 2016, Norcal Regionals had 15 pools of 23-24 players each and a death pool bracket of 52 players, making it 397-412 players for SFV. In 2017, NCR has 18-20 players in 15 pools and currently a death pool bracket of 7 players (This will likely increase though because of more emergency regs), making it 277-307 currently.

Losing about a hundred people from a game year to year means that at least on SFV side, the game is contracting showing that people aren't playing this game to begin with.

There's also the fact that last year we were one month into the game.

As predicted. He got hit hard. I think Benimaru will take his place and Bird army is back in force.

Yeah Beni got away pretty clean but I'm kinda surprised that Nak is making a comeback. It's early to call though since people are still going for old familiars since the tournament is pretty soon after the patch.
