I've never understood the phenomenon known as hate-watching(because why keep tuning in to something you would dislike), but after reading this thread I now see what the phrase really means. I still don't get the appeal, but I guess it seems fun for some here.
By the way if you go to the related channels section of their YouTube profile, you'll see that they did not change the channel to X-play for the reasons you've all stated, but instead they've split the shows into different YouTube accounts. Maybe this is a move to promote competition amongst their own shows or gain more followers and money, who knows. It could be a smart move though for the future if people aren't fans of certain hosts and don't want to see them with a simple unsub.
