If it is gender stuff, then they will get some cancel culture heat for it. Transgender peopler are the untouchable class that nobody is allowed to make fun of nowadays. We all know what happens if you do. This will be the real test. Even if they do a historical work, maybe New York in the '70s, or Swinging '60s London, no matter what, that is the third rail issue of the day. Either they don't address is at all, and tbh it's for the better, because you just get a handful of whining articles by the usual journos about a lack of representation. Or they DO try to be inclusive, and the "Never enough" mob hounds them into messing with the game, because they did it wrong, or their is a person who once made a "Far Right" comment a decade ago. We know this cult is mental and out for blood.
At this point, I think we've seen enough examples to know that this is the one cancellable issue. South Park hasn't seemed to back down with "Strong Woman", and that is a rare thing indeed.
This is the real test to see if R* maintains it's edge.
