youy don't need to uncapYou need 120hz vrr tv for that. We can also uncap fps in every mode

When did i say you need? Wtfyouy don't need to uncap
balanced mode uncapped? Isn't it mostly below vrr window ?When did i say you need? Wtf
I use it uncapped since inside its legit 60 fps. You know thats what freesync is for.
Seems fine to me.balanced mode uncapped? Isn't it mostly below vrr window ?
I'll probably be playing on the mode that doesn't involve giving money to the woman who's responsible for the deaths of millions of trans kids.
But yeah, y'all do y'all.
Switch to Performance and uncap framerate. It will switch to 120hz and play at 1440p instead of 1080p. I've tried both and the difference is only 10fps more to HFR.HFR, no acceleration on controls, and sens set to 2.

Agreed. It definitely looks like a PS4 port. That's why I refunded it on steam and playing on PS5, it looks almost identical on both. And on PS5 it also has dualsense support. As much as I'm enjoying it, the game looks incredibly ugly on all modes. Like an early PS4 game.
This is nonsense. You never have the control over the resolution on a console. Resolution stays the same no matter what you do.Switch to Performance and uncap framerate. It will switch to 120hz and play at 1440p instead of 1080p. I've tried both and the difference is only 10fps more to HFR.
Bellow 48fps you lose VRR and you get stutter.Seems fine to me.What is the window? Its freesync premium on my Tv so it should be 1-120 hz. On pc it is.
Prove it.Bellow 48fps you lose VRR and you get stutter.
Prove what? It is literally on VRR specs. Window is 48-120fps.Prove it.
also you obviously dont even know what Freesync does if you think it stutters automatically just because you are out of it. I played for years on a 144 hz gsync screen you really think it started stuttering when i got fps over 144? Lol
That has nothing to do with the gpu power or utilization. its ue4 which loves strong single core performance and is terrible at multithreading. Also a lot of drawcalls hammer the cpu. Thats the stutter you feel. same on xbox and pc.A bit disappointed in the performance mode on PS5. Sometimes it does stay locked at 60, but quite frequently (especially in certain parts of the castle) there's very noticeable stutter. Some of it seems like it's maybe loading hitches, but in other cases it's just a lower framerate. Maybe 40-ish at worst?
Wrong its 40-120hz with lfc its 20-120hz on lg oleds.Prove what? It is literally on VRR specs. Window is 48-120fps.

Thats why i know that the last gen version will be horrible and should be cancelled. mark my words they will be catastrophic.
Jesus christ. But switch is different with its tegra chip. I have 0 knowledge about that….so i dont say anything on that . it would be assumption. And then you have the Switch version... I really can't wait to see what that will look like, lol.
Yep, that's right. New LG oleds are 20-120. Thought it was still 48.Wrong its 40-120hz with lfc its 20-120hz on lg oleds.
You talk about sony limitation in vrr ?
Freesync premium plus is 1-120 hz as its on pc since 4 ever. We need that.Yep, that's right. New LG oleds are 20-120. Thought it was still 48.
Performance plays at 1440p and Performance HFR plays at 1080p. Choosing Performance and uncapping framerate is IMO better than playing on Performance HFR because the resolution is higher and the FPS difference is minimal to justify it.This is nonsense. You never have the control over the resolution on a console. Resolution stays the same no matter what you do.
Res is set by the devs to its preset. Uncapping would at best lower a dynamic resolution. But this game doesnt use dynamic res. Otherwise it would make no sense. a dynamic resolution only makes sense with a set target. And 30-60 would be like 1080p at 60 and 4k at 30. Makes no sense.
It uses fsr but at a set value. no dynamic resolution at ALL. Otherwise the fidelity mode would get sharper if you cap the fps and it drops to 30 from lets say 50 inside. But it doesnt because no dynamic res.
That's a console issue then. Because on PC, VRR doesn't introduce input lag.Freesync premium plus is 1-120 hz as its on pc since 4 ever. We need that.
But vsync is always enabled on consone so it doesn’t matter much.
factually you should disable vrr in most games that are capped and hold the target fps. since vrr/vsync introduces inputlag. You can easily test this in most games its more responsive without vrr.
No it doesnt.Performance plays at 1440p and Performance HFR plays at 1080p. Choosing Performance and uncapping framerate is IMO better than playing on Performance HFR because the resolution is higher and the FPS difference is minimal to justify it.
It is indeed.its a bit weird my guess is. A game that holds its 60 fps and vsync is on anyways that vrr somehow just raises the input lag i can feel it instantly. That's a console issue then. Because on PC, VRR doesn't introduce input lag.
Looks completely washed out. Maybe I need to reconfigure my settings if all of you think I'm crazy. What the fuck are you talking about? I’m 10 hours into this game and I don’t know of ANY PS4 games that look anywhere close to this game!
I see the ban hasn't had an effect on u lolThat's rich!
It does indeed at a low sitting distance and lower preset than balanced. Its fsr + taa. Because performance mode is not a real 1440p. Even native 1440p with Taa can look quite soft on a 4k tv. especially at a 2m distance.Looks completely washed out. Maybe I need to reconfigure my settings if all of you think I'm crazy.
On ps5 it’s only 48-120 I think unless a game specifically supports lfcSeems fine to me.What is the window? Its freesync premium on my Tv so it should be 1-120 hz. On pc it is.
As i said i jave no clue why is so limited on consoles its an open standard and a decade old by now. But hey at least there is an optionOn ps5 it’s only 48-120 I think unless a game specifically supports lfc
Yep, I knew I had seen this 48-120 limit somewhere. So it's on PS5 side, not on TV.On ps5 it’s only 48-120 I think unless a game specifically supports lfc

How? its the same amd chip just lesser cores, because of sonys os maybe? sinxe xbox uses a windows 10 custom os.It’s not limited on consoles. Just PS5.
HDMI 2.1 VRR. Though it might support LFC in this game since it has a 40fps mode. How? its the same amd chip just lesser cores, because of sonys os maybe? sinxe xbox uses a windows 10 custom os.
Yea we will never know anyways

Yes it is? Every 120 hz tv supports vrr by default dont they/it whatever? my english is not the best. You only need 120hz for balanced mode, VRR isn't required.
So i am not crazy. Good to know . lolJust a more limited implementation on PS5. Series S|X supports LFC for VRR on a system level and PS5 does not.
Series S|X supports VRR from 20-120 if I recall correctly,

Wouldnt that tear? or is vsync on anyways. This is much more complicated on console then on Pc. Im still stuck on Pc brain wise. Made the change in march 21.No, there are TVs that can do 120hz but not VRR.
You just need the TV to be set to 120hz to use the balanced mode on both versions, doesn't require VRR.
It's 40fps and vsync. The HFR mode is for VRR, I believe and maybe the cap frame rate off thing.Wouldnt that tear? or is vsync on anyways. This is much more complicated on console then on Pc. Im still stuck on Pc brain wise. Made the change in march 21.
Yep, this is correct. No, there are TVs that can do 120hz but not VRR.

Oh the HFR mode shows up on non-VRR screens? Damn, that might tear like F.No modes require VRR.

Only on 120hz tvs.Yeah, IIRC this game has a straight up "uncap FPS" option. Which will be tear-city on non VRR displays.
I see the ban hasn't had an effect on u lol
Thats what i don’t understandOh the HFR mode shows up on non-VRR screens? Damn, that might tear like F.
Joke of humanity. It was a traumatic time. I posted on Resetera instead, but when I kept calling people out for not calling people out about Hogarts Legacy, I got banned for mentioning Hogwarts Legacy because I forgot that you can't mention Hogwarts Legacy there. I totally support that stance, but it does get difficult to express one's outrage about something you can't mention.
I'm not even a Harry Potter fan at all , I'm watching my gf play and this game looks really good , all the attention to details is crazyAs much as I'm enjoying it, the game looks incredibly ugly on all modes. Like an early PS4 game.

Get a grip? Without VRR it’s awful, you either get tearing or micro stutter, the TV can’t update in 55fps so it’ll just double some frames here and there.55 fps is no fun? Get a grip dude
