Cool, it seems interesting. Definitely worth a dollar, although I might never get around to playing it to be honest.

I was looking up Titan Attacks! and the reviews aren't bad, but man the game looks awful from what little footage I saw on youtube.
Yeah, it's pretty simple. Would not recommend at a higher price.
All of these games are worth more than a dollar.

Let's please remember how ridiculously cheap 1$/€/etc is for a video game.
Truth.

I'd really love to see the following games on the VC someday. Whether Wii U or NX (preferably NX, I suppose).

Shatterhand
Power Blade
Journey to Silius
Metal Storm
Little Samson

And then one I don't ever expect to release, but I'll keep dreaming:

Tetris & Dr. Mario

Hi friends, not sure where else to post this, but can you get eShop space dollars from Amazon?

I can't recommend strongly enough you buy them from Zaheer or someone in B/S/T. The discount is immense.

ETA: FWIW, while you can't get eShop cred digital codes on Amazon, you can get some eShop game codes for some games.

I thought you were talking about me and I was really confused for a minute :lol

I didn't know there was a GAF user "Zaheer"

Gotcha, thanks for the info! I totally trust you. I have a gift card from a return so that might be tough to do. I want Rhythm Heaven, which isn't on Amazon. :-/

But is it worth the time you'd spend on it? For a lot of those games, I can think of better games in the same genre I already own. I'd rather play Robotron, Mutant Empire or Geometry Wars Galaxies than Ultratron.

That is also happening to mine, is not nice
PS: Got three of the Curve WiiU games on sale and got 50 gold coins, Is Thomas was alone like VVVVV?

Not really, but is is excellent. It has distinct levels, with platforming puzzles, and the characters are all different geometric shapes. There's nice narration going on too. It just plays so well.

Not just "not really" but "holy cow that's a night a day difference"

Thomas was Alone is an ultra-slow paced atmospheric puzzle platformer about fitting variously shaped blocks through holes and getting them to the end of a level while some British voice tells you a story. VVVVVV is a hardcore precision twitch-platformer without any jumping whatsoever.

Could not be more radically different.

In addition to Robin & TheMoon's input, I want to say that I went into this game with no expectations other than - recommendations from GAF, it is a puzzle game, and that I got it on sale - and I definitely enjoyed it. It's a fairly short game, and I'd say you should give it a play if you enjoy puzzle games. It does a good job conveying what the game-play is like within the first couple of stages,
with variations in game mechanics in later levels from the other pieces.
And for $1 you can't go wrong.

There's nice narration going on too.

Absolutely - It made the game memorable to me, rather than a generic puzzle game.

Adam Prime

hates soccer, is Mexican
Yeah I feel like I HAVE to buy those $1 WiiU games for the Gold coins, even though I'm not interested in a single one of them...

I'll post my impressions later, but I'm going to go ahead and download them for the Coins... I know I'll never be able to get 20 coins that cheaply again.

There hasn't been any good deal with Golden coins on my Nintendo yet (IMO) but you can pick all these games and wait for better deals at Christmas for example (if they expire in 6 months). RIght now the only good deals would be discounts on Earhtbound beginnings and Pocket Football, the other ones are meh at best :| (or games that everyone should have already like DK:TF).

Come on PR, where are youuuu!!! (bat/robin signal on)

Interesting they didn't list the 15% sale for Hot Rod Racer launch.

Anyways, I hope Lost in Shadow comes to NA. I have it on Wii, but be easier to just have it on my Wii U. I enjoyed that game. Only played like 1st hour of it, but did enjoy it.

Oh, Konami joining the Wii train? Nice. I hope they bring Shattered Memories.

edit: btw are we both always F5'ing GoNintendo on Monday morning? lol

Give me Shattered Memories remastered for WiiU, my biggest issue with that game was the game having to stop to look at your phone, if it had the phone info on the gamepad in real time kinda like ZombiU Bag, it would be great.

At this point it's getting a bit silly (even jokingly) wishing for (sort of implied exclusive) third party Wii U games from major pubs^^

Wouldn't wanna lose the best video game flashlight, though.

Not sure, I just remember that the predecessor was perfectly playable without ever purchasing anything. Perhaps they changed the price model with part 2.

I have no idea what they're actually used for, but, all the same, the typical trade-off of 3DS ports costing money but removing all IAPs is usually going to result in a better game overall.
