Today we’re happy to reveal the PlayStation Plus Monthly Games for August. The Monthly Games lineup of PGA Tour 2K23, Dreams and Death’s Door will be available to PlayStation Plus members on Tuesday, August 1 until Monday, September 4.

Let’s take a closer look at each of the games in turn.

PGA Tour 2K23

Take your skills on the PGA Tour and become the next FedExCup Champion as you compete against Tour pros and establish new rivalries. For the first time, play as male and female pros including Tiger Woods, in online and local play. Level up your MyPLAYER with new Skills and Archetypes and bring the swag to the green with new licensed gear and apparel. Run your own online societies to manage tournaments and seasons or test your skills against your friends in Divot Derby and Casual mode. Create your own dream course with the Course Designer, which features thousands of customizable objects and cross-platform sharing.

Dreams

Dreams is an extraordinary, ever-expanding game universe from the award-winning Media Molecule, creators of LittleBigPlanet and Tearaway, where you can discover community-made games from around the world… and learn to make your own. The latest evolution of the studio’s Play, Create, Share maxim, Dreams gives you the opportunity to unleash your creativity. Bring your ideas to life with innovative, easy-to-use tools, then share them with a global community. Whether you want to create games, music, paintings, animation, sculpture, movies or anything in-between, Dreams is an extraordinary digital playground where anything is possible.

And that’s not all! As part of Dreams coming to PlayStation Plus, Media Molecule’s latest game, Tren will be available to play in Dreams. Tren is a nostalgic adventure that puts you in the driving seat of a remarkable toy train, and tells a personal tale about growing up – and the transformative power of play.

Death’s Door

Experience a somber yet darkly comedic tale, utilizing melee weapons, arrows, and magic to overcome a fantastic array of beasts and demigods in this isometric action adventure. Gain an edge by customizing your character stats and mastering the abilities and upgrades you obtain as you explore a land full of twisted inhabitants and countless secrets, bringing hope to the weird and wonderful characters you’ll meet along the way.

Last chance to download July’s Monthly Games

PlayStation Plus members have until Monday, July 31 to add Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, Alan Wake Remastered and Endling – Extinction is Forever to their game library.

Already played Death's Door and Dreams, and no interested in PGA.

Not the month for me, but it happens.

Death's Door was pretty good btw.

Already own Dreams and Death's Door, no interest in PGA TOUR. Oh well, Extra always delivers and I have way too much to play anyway with Remnant 2, Diablo 4 and Street Fighter 6, Armored Core a month away!

Horrid list of games the month that Xbox Gold goes away, coincidence?
horrid? just because you don’t care for the games doesn’t make it horrid

they often seem to get the last sports games from 2K shortly before the next ones are set to launch, Dreams may be a disappointment sure but at least more people will get to experience it now (since it doesn’t sound like it sold very well), and Death’s Door was considered great back when it released as an Xbox exclusive & has the reviews to back that up

there’s a difference between bad games (like XBLG largely has had for years) and games that are legitimately good/great but you aren’t interested or already own them

edit: Death’s Door has an 88 on OpenCritic

Dreams is a 90

Not a good month for me. I already beat Deaths Door on game pass. It was actually the first game I ever played and beat completely on the cloud.

Looking forward to hitting the greens in PGA 2K23. 2K21 was free a year or so ago and we had fun doing multiplayer with it in the off season. I've heard good things about Death's Door but will be going into it completely blind. Little Big Planet proved I lack the creativity for Media Molecule games so I'll probably download it just to check out what's been made already before it EOL's.

I'm very pleased with this month and I already have both Dreams and Death's Door in my physical collection lol. More people experiencing these two games is a big W in my book.

thinks Halo Infinite is a new graphical benchmark
I wouldn’t mind playing dreams I think the issue people had with that was the virtual reality ps move aspect. You can be sure I won’t be playing a golf video game.

The way this works is the lists for PS+ and GWG release each month and then people pile on about how crap they are. It doesn't matter whether the games are actually good. If they're not blockbuster titles then they suck.
