I think I prefer Doom 2016 to Eternal. Glad to see Wolfenstein 2. I just replayed New Order and it was fantastic, but I remember liking the sequel even more.

Right? I was pretty surprised at the lack of Half-Life 1.

Overall I thought it was a pretty good list though, definitely had some games there that I would've recommended. Kind of surprised at what was missing though. Like what I mentioned above, haha.

Agree on 2016 doom. Prefer it to eternal.
ALso prefer New Order to Colossus... colossus was kinda bad

Half-life 1 are 2 are incredible also. I really have a special place for the OG Doom and even new Doom for different reasons.

Man that's so close to my choices, only I would have Halo over metro. The Riddick game is one I'm desperate to see again in this gen, either a remake, upgrade, anything.

Spot on with 1 and 2, but I would put Halo CE right up there at number 3.

With Shogo MAD a close number 4.

There then comes about 20 or 30 titles that you could throw a cover over...all so good, and any one fitting of a top 5 spot.

I never played Half Life ... never grabbed me even though I tried.

I remember thinking Halo CE on the OG Xbox was awesome.
Goldeneye on N64.

I'm not huge on the genre but I had an absolute blast with the above two titles.

I'd say Metroid Prime also qualifies as a FPS and should definitely be on the list. I mean come on, you even open doors by shooting at them, that's a shooter.
I'd personally also swap out Wolfenstein for Metro Last Light.

But decent list.
