it is, which means any current version of the game should be considered M rated as it is hot coffee free anyway.I don't think I've ever seen the AO version of GTA SA streamed. Isn't the AO just because the glitch is possible and nothing else?
What does that mean?
first they came for our public display of porn games and I said nothing...I'd wager that most things people do in general are based on agendas.
Why would you do things with no motivation at all?
Just out of curiosity, why does it matter who made the game and where they come from?
That Ustream is more than just games, if I'm remembering correctly. Pretty sure people just stream whatever on there, weddings and all.
It doesn't. Hatred doesn't matter at all and anyone insisting it does is just stirring the pot.
Not limited to gaming?
[EDIT]
When was this screenshot taken, because I'm pretty sure you won't find these things anymore?
Your statement is inherently false, because if it truly didn't matter, then Twitch would have no reason to ban it and other AO games from their service, and we wouldn't be discussing this.
I think you meant it doesn't matter to you at all.
Hatred isn't banned. It isn't an AO game and it isn't specifically listed in the language in the article.
Why not simply have age gates that people have to go through for AO games, wouldn't they clear them of legal issues? So the person watching knows what it's waited and it's their choice.

There is nothing wrong with that stream what so ever.
What?
Hatred is indeed rated AO, check the steam page.

Same reason YouTube doesn't have age gates to watch porn, or GAF doesnt have age gates for "Adults Only" sub forums.
She zipped her coat up.
I saw it before that, but her zipping up even further proves the point that there's nothing wrong with that stream.
Damn, I forgot about Hatred. Curious to see if it gets reviewed anywhere or gets any press.
Why is there such a big discussion about this? There hasn't been a single AO game of note other than Manhunt, and the brief window San Andreas got slappped with one for content that wasn't even in the game, and those were like 10+ years ago.
It seems like they're setting a policy just so they can say they have one.
LOL at people thinking twitch is some open platform that shouldn't be moderated.
This is very reasonable.
I wonder too... at least the game will not receive attention on GAF =DDamn, I forgot about Hatred. Curious to see if it gets reviewed anywhere or gets any press.
Sites still covered mostly Dragon's Crown at least, just there was more of an emphasis on LOOK AT THESE GIANT TITS IN SHAME. If it were my call I'd just do the bare basics of covering Hatred and leave it at that; remove the mystique but not really pimping it out either.Pretty much guaranteed to get press. Hell, it was the press that made it a thing in the first place. Hatred is the worst case of Dragon's Crowning since, well, Dragon's Crown (and I'd argue it's actually worse since Hatred frankly looks like a bad video game).
Hatred should have been a small, obscure footnote. It has gotten 100 times the attention it deserves. But controversy sells, and its developers are clearly using that to great effect.
Hatred's allegedly out next week. Pretty blatant that's the reason for the new policy.
Blatant in that it isn't specifically mentioned at all and doesn't fall under this policy, which has been policy for some time.

Oh, I was not aware there was a side-wide ban on the topic.
I hope this thread is able to stay open, because the topic is more about Twitch banning AO games rather than Hatred's content.
guys i wonder if there's a large event coming up
one with consoles involved
consoles with companies that would want Twitch to block AO games since they don't allow AO games on their consoles and also have a Twitch app
maybe this event would be big enough to announce a big Twitch push on console hardware
and they should hold it in LA
nah, it's totally to block one small indie game that isn't even ESRB rated and isn't even affected by this ban
That's not the point here.
The point is this announcement is coincidentally coming very close to the release of Hatred. So basically, Twitch is saying you can't stream Hatred without actually saying you can't stream Hatred.
It's not their choice not to allow it that bothers me the most. It's how they're being sneaky with it and trying to pretend its for the greater good.
We shall see what happens next week.
And what curious timing to be making an extremely public and official announcement such as this... hmm...
You're being purposefully obtuse if you are ignoring the notion that this could potentially be completely agenda-driven.
agendas! he said the secret word!
Which is exactly a point I made earlier in the thread.
I just feel like Twitch should be more up front and honest about their want to not have Hatred on their streaming service, and not try to sugar coat it. They should stick to their convictions.

Let's see what happens on June 1.
That seems logical. But Pathfinder followed the money! It's clearly "agenda-driven", Twitch is out to get only Hatred. Pathfinder just really really doesn't like that Twitch is being sneaky about this "agenda".
Apparently quoting someone's posts is considered being a fan. No wonder you jump to conspiracies.I do believe I've found myself a fan.
