If they look at the market and realize there's basically only 2 types of games that go big...and try to do something like that...then maybe.

Open world single player.
Open world multiplayer.

Otherwise, good luck making another standard Gears game and expecting different results.

Confusion about gears and god of war leading to increased sales/interest? I have no idea. Seen a lot more people call it GoW now instead of just Gears too. Gears is the official name and they dropped "of war" a long time ago.
