Vib Ribbon is the one that got away and back then, when we still had that old-school thinking around regional lockout, there was no simple way for those outside of Europe and Japan to even encounter the game.
They say PS3 will have CD Audio compatibility... but what about Vita?
I would pay double price for a proper port (Vita MP3 support and PS4 version)
Wow. I really never thought I would see the day where a first party actually admits and points out how garbage region-lock is in an official PR statement. It feels... so good.
I never understood the sudden interest in this game (since it's not exactly great), but the more PS classics the better.
Great news since you couldn't even play the game on a modded ps2. Not sure why anyone would want it on Vita though.
Honestly I think the game looks garbage, but its good to see that the ceo cares enough about games to push through a passion project, even if it has no chance of being a hit.
OH HELL YES. Been wanting to try this game, awesome to see it finally come to the US. Would be amazing if it allowed MP3 support on the Vita, but I can always use some of my gaming OSTs on the PS3 version.
Vib Ribbon AND Twin Peaks comeback, announced on the same day. Am I dreaming?

Good that Americans finally get this game. Now how about being fair Sony and giving us Europeans some classic PS1 rpgs we never got?

PS3 has both unavoidable input lag and then there is the lag that comes with HDTVs. Vita might be the best option here for a lag-free experience.

Vita version won't allow you to play levels generated randomly from any CD though. You're severely limiting your Vib Ribbon experience without that feature.
