He's right, it's a skill gap. Even the west coasts player's wacky teams could put up a better fight against Chris G.'s MorriDoom than RayRay did against Cosmos' today. It's not really matc-hup inexperience or lack of practice since the east coast has some of the best MorriDoom players around they just aren't playing on the level of Chris G. or Cosmos right now.

Flux actually has good record against MorriDoom players so this doesn't surprise me (he was actually winning matches over ChrisG when he was there).
But he plays fucking Zero aka best character in the game.

And Bonchan ends Daigo's 34 game win streak when they decided to play each others main character. Bonchan with Evil Ryu and Daigo with Sagat of course. I'm not sure if this one even counts as one of the "100". But I'm kind of bummed out to see that winning streak end this way. If it was going to go, I'd rather see it from someone in the audience.
I don't know myself for sure, but Nova has a great chance against Morrigan, and I know he's smart enough to adjust on the fly, plus he can do big damage.

The El Fuerte mirror match was amazing. Daigo clutched out both wins with an ultra. Thought forsure the streak was going to end.

Yoooo, that call out. Even Chris himself wouldn't consistently beat his own team, the stuff is honestly impregnable at times. Only player I see consistently hold it against Chris is F. Champ and Justin, even then Justin gets in your head, F. Champ plays the match up.

I mostly play Melee but I played some Alpha 2 and Marvel 2 at Magfest and I want to get into those games (or games like them). Where should I start? What games would you recommend to someone coming from Melee that wants similar gameplay (speed, movement, combos, etc)? What stick should I buy?
Also, I noticed that the old arcade machines there had buttons laid out straight across and it was killing my fingers (I had to turn at an angle to play comfortably). I'm glad that many modern sticks have the buttons in an arc to match a human hand.

Some of the well known Ultimate Marvel 3 players were Smash players first. It's definitely a fast game although the combos will be pretty different from Smash.

Morrigan wouldn't make it to MvC4 or any new versus game the way she is now. It would be cool if she were a little more like her VSav version instead (bonus unlockable blown up sprite for mvc4, anyone?).
I love when games do this- VF1 models in vf4evo, RE1 versions of RE6 characters, gran Turismo 2 cars in Gran Turismo 6
