Did they not model the labia on the women? They just look like barbie dolls. Seems weird when you have the guys with full on dongs flapping about.

It looks like they put some hair there, which for most people would cover the labia entirely.
I mean the models are not really a very high standard of modelling or example of high polygon budget haha.
But I guess yea kind of interesting the male has a comparatively more detailed modeled penis.

If I played this game again, and I wasn't female, i'd be sad for a bit, but get over it.

This is just hilarious, both the whiners who don't want to be the women and the ones who really wanted to be a women but still didn't get it.
I wonder what's their endgame for the genetic stuff. Will it just be stuff that affects your outward appearance or will there be systemic stuffs? Is there a food/eating system in the game? Randomized food allergies could be cool. Or even randomizing things like eyesight or total strength potential through randomized body size.

my reasons aren't terrible but I'd rather not share my "controversial" view and have myself banned because my view is different from yours. i promise you its not as bad as you think and maybe its not something thatll get me banned, but hey, why risk it?

Their statement in the OP is so good. Rust doesn't interest me but I love everything these devs are doing.
Knowing nothing about the game, I imagine just the social part. Which could then affect how other players react to you. Like, I can totally imagine groups of players going around targeting other players of a specific gender or specific race.
The game seems perfect for some grad student's paper lol.
I typically measure the dick size of everyone before I kill them. Bigger than mine, they die, smaller than mine, I release them into the wild.

I wonder how the animations are? I've picked my gender based on how each model looks in game animations voice etc in other games.

In a game where you die often random character generation is an ok idea. Usually you let the player choose, but whatever.
If you only get the same thing every life then it's a stupid idea plain and simple. You can look past it and enjoy the game, but it's a stupid "feature" at the end of the day.

I dunno, at this point it feels more like a PR stunt more than anything.
It was an interesting social experiment when they did it the first time, but I don't think there is anything particularly wrong in wanting a character creator.
Maybe if it was like this from the beginning instead of years after release?

lol years. The game was released after 3 months of development. When it blew up after a few months they decided their original code was a mess and they had to remake the entire thing from scratch. It's has come a long way last few months.
