Besides Zelda, which other characters do we think will have voice acting?
Ganondorf is an obvious one. What about Impa? She had a huge role in SS and it's likely she'll get an even larger role in the story due to the Sheikah's prominence in BOTW. In fact, it might even be her that speaks in the beginning.

The Wind Waker had extremely minimal voice acting for Link ("C'mon!"). Other than some gimmicks in the BS Zelda games, you're looking at Navi's Trackers for actual voice acting.

I don't mind Emily, but 10k seems to be following the same footsteps as that Liam person. As in, he chimes in whenever a rumor starts as if he had known the whole time. I don't really care if they're wrong or right in the end, though, just something I've observed.
For Zelda? Yeah, but it seems to be just for major story parts. After they wandered the world for a while Link got his first story quest and there was voice acting.

-NX/WiiU release was already rumored months prior to when she tweeted. Not sure we can even count this as a rumor, certainly not as a point for her.
-VA is currently up in the air as she said "most" characters would be voiced, and currently we are hearing it will be for major characters and scenes only. That's not really the same thing.
-Obviously she was wrong on the gender choice.
To me that's barely 1 out 2, and the biggest one to get wrong was the gender choice as it's completely clear cut. Given that she said she had multiple sources on that rumor, and she probably got this info from the same people, I think it's fair to say that her rumors are not any more believable than anyone else's at the moment.

Same voice. She was telling Link where to go to progress the story.
So far just from the female voice that is extremely likely to be Zelda. It looks like voice acting is being saved for only really important roles/moments.

Hyrule Warriors had a voiced narrator, so until I hear another character, or see Zelda speaking, one pessimistic theory I can have is the voice is from some goddess, and because it is your guidance figure, a disembodied voice and not a character in the world, it's the only voice, specifically to no interrupt your playing with a text box for telling you things during gameplay like "head to your indicated marker on your map".
I doubt that. 95% chance that it is Zelda. This wouldn't be the first time a Zelda game starts with Zelda waking Link up with a telepathic communication.
Im not sure saying a game has voice acting is a hard one to guess. Its a 50/50 chance.
Destructoid and Nintendo World Report corroborated on Female Link and voice acting. You also aren't counting the 100+ mini-dungeons bit before E3 began. To outright dismiss any rumors or information she shares is a bit extreme. We may as well dismiss IGN, Gamespot, and any outlet that has gotten information wrong.
This too. She never said every character. If the key characters of the game speak, then you have to mark it as a half right for her at the very least. We've had insiders on GAF get more wrong than she did concerning Zelda.

I have a suspicion that Mother 3 will be delayed to the NX - would be a really easy way to hype up the new console and pad out its launch library.

The only disappointing thing about this entire Zelda game reveal if true.
I was surprised by how decent her voice acting was. For a moment I was like "Aww, Zelda (the franchise) all growed up." I started imagining the entire game with similarly competent voice acting. But then the old man right outside the cave was just text and it killed it for me.
Ironically this could have been one of the easiest Zelda games for them to go all in on voice acting, as it seems like there might be significantly less dialogue compared to previous games.
What makes you think that? Is it because they didn't show any towns? Because there'll be towns, and there'll be lots of NPCs too

Great year with Treehouse this year, too. I was glued to the TV yesterday with Zelda, and watched most of the segments this year, too. Hopefully, Rhythm Paradise Megamix arrives soon for us in Europe, too. Please, Shibata.
Great for mu first E3 at NintendoGAF, altough I didn't write much, I enjoyed reading reactions and hyperboles. Hope see the Treehouse and you guys back Next year. Or maybe sooner than that, Treehouse has done Live Streams directly from the Treehouse before.

There's also Nintendo's NX announcement later this year (which most likely will have Treehouse streaming/playing the new games)
I'm looking forward to see what the Nintendo NX is, and what Nintendo are going to do to change things around. It's certainly going to be an interesting 2016, for sure.

It does, but the trailer saying multiple game cartridges were needed is worrisome. Somebody said the fact sheet also says single game download play is also on there, but that leads me to believe it is some restricted version (like MK7 where everyone else was stuck being Shyguy).

I read about the plateau being too high for players to leave but I never actually saw footage of it until now:

I read somewhere that the plateau is a sacred place that there is no residents. Now it makes sense. It is like an sealed off area from the outer world.
BTW, from the stream, I feel that Aonuma is a nice guy. He belongs to those people I want to drink beer together. He may be a very demanding leader in making games, but his personality shown in the Treehouse stream is pleasant and he is quite humorous. I still remember he said although he had so many things to share, Bill and Chiko restraint him from talking too much. He said it in a playful manner and gave me a really good impression.

I doubt Mother 3 would be the right game to really direct attention to a brand new system. Earthbound and Mother 1 released on WiiU, they should just complete the series on one system with Mother 3.
There is almost nothing on the horizon for the WiiU till the NX launches anyways, so just give it to us already!
Backwards compatibility with the WiiU would probably be pretty complicated considering its weird architecture and the Gamepad inclusion which is not so easily disabled for many games...Makes me wonder if there's the possibility that they'd just let us use the Gamepad with the new system as an optional accessory.

Minor Monster Hunter nitpick, but sometimes I wish they wouldn't mess with the names. To me Raizex sounds meaner, more badass than Astalos...silly maybe but if it isn't broke, why mess with it? Other than that I just preordered 5 copies of Generations for me and the family, can't wait to hunt in English this time as my Japanese is... Nonexistent lol.
Also, just watched the Treehouse stream again for Zelda and it really is gorgeous, I really don't get some of the complaints about the visuals. The Cel shaded or painted look really works, I'm in love with Zelda all over again.
