They don't get it. They really just don't get it. People hear #BlackLivesMatter and they think that invalidates the worth of other people. No, it's to bring attention to a problem that Black people in the US have to deal with right now. Obviously all lives matter, but we're talking about Black lives right now. And people of color everywhere in the US. The most common argument I see if "We need to stop saying this and break down the barriers." Saying #AllLivesMatter doesn't change the color of someone's skin when a cop pulls them over or how that cop is going to treat them during the stop. Some people are just not with it. They're not malicious or racist per se, they just don't "get" it. Others are just closet racists.
Don't waste your energy if people want to ignore what's going on.

Its heart wrenching. If watching people beg for their lives isn't chilling enough for people, maybe watching their families wail in pain might shake them.
I can't stop thinking about that kid. Congratulations to the police officer, you just ensured this little kid will hate police for the rest of her life.

I'm always confused by those who will venerate cops and soldiers beyond all reason, but then swear they will kill those who would take their guns (hint: it would be those same cops and soldiers). I predict that the NRA, which along with Governor Reagan supported gun control policies when Black Panthers armed themselves, will remain silent (or even dismissive) on this instance.

Granted there is a LOT of racism among police, but it doesn't help when you are thinking in the back of your mind that it's more likely that this person your pulling over has a gun, than doesn't have one. Police officers in Canada have to worry about the possibility of a gun being pulled much less. Mix a nervous cop + racism, recipe for disaster.

How do they pull a loaded firearm and shoot someone sitting in a car? What the Fuck are they thinking that they need to kill someone instead of disabling them by non-lethal means like a stun gun?
My best friend just had his wife die suddenly due to an unseen infection, 5 days before her 26th birthday, so it makes you realize how valuable and precious life is.
It's sickening that a human being can shoot another human dead in cold blood and get away with it just because they have a badge.

Fuck the police. Fuck the bullshit about 'bad apples' or 'he was no angel'. There isn't a war against the police but there should be. A war against America's diseased, downright evil 'justice system', from the private prisons to the trigger-happy cops, would be more justified than any war against drugs or terrorism combined. In fact, that war would've been declared long ago if the victims of these murderers in blue and the people overpopulating the prisons were white. Instead, American politicians seem happier supporting these uniformed psychos and creating laws that only make the situation worse.
This has been happening to black people since the inception of the police , nothing has changed except technology and the means to capture the abuse and misconduct now

True. Occupy got fucking steam rolled. Granted, it has lead to other organized efforts, but the overal message got trashed by the media, Wall Street, and the police.
