You don't have a monitor that supports HDR. Doesn't matter if Windows 11 has it built in or not, if your monitor doesn't support it, you don't have it.
I'm in the same boat as well. I have a Dell 24" 1440p gaming monitor at 165hz refresh *but* no HDR.
The only consolation slimy is that the game is beautiful on it's own, even without HDR(I have a Xbox One X with the game as well on my tv with HDR.)

Hmmm. Sorry for presuming you had a monitor with no HDR when you do have a nice OLED baby!
Wonder what the issue is? Might be a conflict with your tv HDR/PC HDR settings is my best guess.

Good stuff. It was nice of Playfround to provide the PC-equivalent settings. The game is beautiful and runs great. Could be even better with the addition of DLSS+RT(gameplay). Understandable they don’t include this option, though, as it wouldn’t put their console hardware in the best light.

Man DLSS would do wonders in this game, can you imagine the IQ improvements and the added fps. It would run 4K extreme settings at 120fps constanstly, pliz PG give us that DLSS sauce and at some ray tracing in game on top of that.

Man I know they upped the difficulty for races, but unbeatable is really unbeatable, the first 3 AI drivers run 2-3 seconds a lap faster than me, yet on Pro level I run 2-3 seconds faster than them under the same conditions. Who the hell tests these games? The people who manage to beat unbeatable drivatars must be "robots".
I didn't follow the games marketing that much before launch, so I was shocked by how many awesome cars were cut.. original Viper GTS, Lambo Murcielago (lp640) to name a few, wtf. They really should start adding more up-to-date cars, where are all the new Audis??
The game crashed on me from the Supra's bodykit menu. I noticed that when choosing body kits or rims categories, the game stutters big time. Not to mention the Ultra settings lod problems.
I put 250 hours into FH3 and 450 into FH4, and I think I've finally reached the point where I hate this game's lack of progression, I've been playing for a couple of hours and feel like I have already completed the game, and now I am just driving around to random events just to race.
Sorry for the rant, had to get that off my chest. I'm going to progress further into the game, hopefully I will find the wow factor in it that I did with the other entries.

Series X can do better than the two modes Playgrpund has & run this better than xb1x settings at 60 fps like we have now. DF even said the game looks identical on series x to the xb1x at 30fps. They're saying its a Series "masterpiece" meanwhile similar PCs are stomping the Series X in performance mode. Df is gushing over the game which indeed looks gorgeous but they know most of us will be playing the scaled back performance mode. This could've been solved by offering a 3 rd mode for people with VRR tvs.

This is a good suggestion. It was crashing at the startup screen for me. Updated my drivers (Nvidia) and worked fine after.
Cheers lad, I guess I wasn't in the right class. Moved up a class (but not to the exact number) and it worked.

Nah, I play Elite Dangerous, flight sims and Arma etc. Not into arcades stuff, that is all. My young kid loved being able to drive a car right through a forest with exploding threes, through stone walls etc however. It is a super game for kids.

I get they are trying to be realistic by having a dimming red filter when looking out the windscreen from inside your car but its wayyyy too much and just dulls and deminishes the bright vibrant world of Mexico.
Ive gone from feeling completely immerssed with the dash view in FH4 to resorting to using the hood cam in FH5 because the world looks so much better from outside of the car.
Horizon 4 did it right by not having any filter.
Really hope they fix that or add a toggle.

I wish I could find drifting a bit more controllable on a controller. I seem to always spin out even when I’m full counter-steer. It’s nothing like real life drifting at all and because I’m used to how it works in a real car I just can’t do the same things with my fingers. I am trying to train my hands to have that muscle memory but I can’t seem to figure out the correct amount of counter steer and throttle blipping to keep it under control. Maybe I need to play a bit more of the game get some money and get a more powerful car.
I’m using manual with clutch and all driving assists off steering in sim mode.

Bin playing on pc. Seems awfully simalar to 4 and 3. I played 3 for like 100 hours plus all the dlc. Played 4 for probably a quarter of that time. I'll probably play this off and on with gamepass but yeah, if you told me this was dlc for 4 if believe it. Still got the pop in of bushes and shadows which is disappointing too. Still the best racing game out there I'm just burnt out on the previous games I think, much like the farcry games.

Well that was short lived. I can't play this at all, just get instantly bored as soon as I start driving. Too much of the previous ones, I guess. The worst part is that the visuals aren't even all that impressive. I mean it looks great, but lots of games look great now. It doesn't really stand out. I gave it a few chances but I just have no desire to play it at all so I uninstalled it. Time to try something exciting like Football Manager 22.

I’m fine with a lower lod in performance but having stuff pop in like this can be off putting at times. Thankfully once you're racing you don’t really think about it.

Yeah I agree. I appreciate the setting and the attempt to integrate Mexican culture, but it feels so ham fisted and not genuine. Too Disneyfied I guess.
And yeah adding teams or clubs would be dope

Nothing like driving the 1970 Datsun 510 sporting a dilapidated looking paint job, with the dead car starting noise as my horn, and using it in the S1 racing lobbies and actually competing with it. It’s actually a really fun drive if you have the right tune for it at S1.
