I am a big fan of Jim-era Sony securing that bag from the PC community💰. Easy money when the customer base is paying kings ransom for components they'll shell out for anything to make use of it :messenger_tears_of_joy:.

Thankful for my comprehension of understanding that "Only on PlayStation" means the console side of things. #blessed 🙌

I don't know, man. "Reproduced" could mean the dialogue has been re-recorded. You could be right, but as far as I can see, they haven't confirmed the details of the production yet.

Also Naughty Dog made a misleading trailer for the second game purposely. The one where they changed the character models. They could be misleading again. Time will tell.
Nope the performances are the exact same as the original. I can tell. I know the game.

Day 1 purchase for me. It's going to be exciting to see a highly detailed retelling of Joel's manslaughtering campaign and Ellie's self reflection as being identified as a non-binary/gender fluid specimen.

That's the most interesting bit to me, as they couldn't just do it without reworking pretty much all areas a great deal. Can't wait for more info
Start in TLOU2 engine. Port over the audio and make new character models. Keep all the gameplay systems the same. Then just put some environment designers on it for 2 years and there you go. TLOU1 with TLOU2 gameplay.

Can definitely tell you aren’t mad

Imagine being Sony...the most secretive company right now, announcing a game release themselves by a leak, 4 hours before the official announcement. Literally all the surprise just vanishing like this, lmao.

We have known about it for quite a long time, so not much of a leak, especially that it was supposed to be unveiled today. Geoff must be a bit pissed off, however...C'est la vie! 🤷‍♂️

Show me some of that reworked gameplay though. Joel should be a bear in close range.

Also, my prediction almost coming true. Tlou 1 remake in september, Forspoken in October and the big boi ragnarok in november. Makes sense they pick a date as early as possible in september to get it out. Probably gonna have the september showcase after tlou1 remake ia out.

Incorrect. TLoU1 and TLoU2 are excellent stealth/action games on higher difficulty levels.

Excellent. Sneak up behind a guy and watch the same chocking animation. Repeat 1000 times. Congratulations, you won. BUT if you enjoy it then good for you!

We've known about it for some time but because of a news article that wasn't done by Sony. They only wanted us to find out about this today.

Well, If they improved the gameplay, I'll probably give it another purchase. But its kind of immersion breaker after knowing what happened in part 2. I really hope they could implement a new choice of ending where I could choose not to massacre the entire Firefly

environment designers totally reworking all areas to accommodate all Part2 additional traversal mechanics doesn't sound like an easy feat and that's not even touching combat

Joel hate is so intense they minimized him on the cover. :messenger_grinning_sweat:
Fuck ND for how they treated their fans as "the enemy" and are now trying to buy them back with a remaster.
At least Konami didn't shat on their consumers.

Yeah, that's true. But the combat should pretty much be done based on the last game. All you really need is to just make some new levels. You can add in some rope climbing or verticality, or larger areas and take a few liberties with the "enhanced exploration."

That's what I'm expecting anyway, but who knows.

Every game you cherish is 'push button, win game', just so you know.

Not really. I was playing Command and Conquer earlier today. I'm sure I had to do more than just push the button to win.

Listen, I love The Last of Us (first one). But to say that it has good gameplay is just ridiculous. It doesn't. It's an amazing story with some of the most likeable characters ever created and simply stunning (at the time) visuals. That's what makes it amazing. Take it away and you get a 5/10 game.

Are they backporting all the new systems like the dynamic stealth etc.
Lots more games to go. I said this the other day, 2022 and 2023 will be the years they usher in tons of PC ports to get them out of the way. 2024 PC gaming will focus on a lot more recent PS games with small time gaps.

More to go.... Ghosts, GT, R&C, DS, The Show, Returnal.
