Johnny Depp Vs Amber Heard Defamation trial live

The ideal is good, however, without evidence it is a kangroo court. Metoo have done some good but it also done a lot of bad.

I mean punishing murderers is good too, but if we form a mob and start hanging people accused of murder from trees that would be very very bad. You can't say "yeah the mob did some good because that one guy that they hanged was definitely guilty", you need to consider the overall impact of a movement to society and individuals affected by it. And btw my example is not that far off from what happened with metoo, there are people that actually killed themselves because of unfounded accusations.

How hypocritical.

The moment you've done what you did to Johnny, the notion of fairness has been thrown out the window.

What an evil piece of shit. Crying about fair social media representation? Pot calling the kettle black is putting it lightly.

She was the cunt that tried to leverage social media and mainstream media in her attempts to frame Depp.

I hope she does attempt to appeal so that she's utterly ruined when the judgement is handed down against her.

I was all for Depp walking away and letting Heard slide on the condition that she shuts her fuckface up, but after all these slights and slanders I'll be all for Depp's legal team to go after her with all they have.

No accountability or ownership and everyone else is wrong but her.

Even survivors don't believe her story.
I would've quit while I was ahead if I were her. Let the dumb fuck continue to dig her own grave. She deserves all of the public scorn that she gets.

Jesus Christ. She's one of the worst human beings I've ever had the misfortune of witnessing.

I am a non violent person, but my urge to slap her across the face is almost scary. How Johnny Depp could last years with this monster...Mad respect.

She's ALWAYS acting. And she's so incredibly bad at it. No self reflection, no self awareness. Fucking narcissistic piece of shit.

If anyone buys her shit...My god.
The only ones who continue to defend her are blind simps. They're not worth bothering.

I read that she has gotten a big deal to write a book about "the truth". Not sure if that's true but that doesn't go together with what she said about wanting to continue her life.

She obviously is an attention seeker who is still trying to stay relevant in the media, seeing as she lost social media to Johnny Depp she's just going to try and think of ways to make the most click baiting titles so media can print her money. I hope Johnny actually doesn't respond to her at all and can live life better now as a free man.

AH is desperate for money since she has to pay 10million to JD.

a reboot of this series with amber heard as the lead would be great

Literally everything she's done has flown in the face of her claiming that she "just wants to move on". It was obviously BS and another lie, she's going to drag this out as long as she can.

I get the feeling Will Smith had one no-good, terrible, very bad day, and it happened to be televised live. The rest have a documented, persistent history of being awful
Well, Will Smith is clearly emotionally abused by his wife.

He has a shitty wedding with a gaslighter... just like Johnny and Amber here did.

So we might have seen him snapping not just because of the joke, but whatever was going on in his life and how stressed and pressured he was at the time. Also, "if" he was in survival mode or suffering from PTST, he could be anticipating what would happen if he didn't step up, trying to please an abuser never leads to good judgement.

That is the problem. It started with women justifiably voicing themselves basically due to desperation.

It is not metoo in and of itself that screwed it up, it's the dishonest voices within said movement.

People tend to forget that metoo exists because women have repeatedly been treated like property. Yes, it is completely unacceptable to falsely accuse someone of heinous crimes, but jesus, it's also horrific how some men just take advantage and impose themselves on others.

It was literally mob justice. It caught a few people that deserved it, but as usual and for any person with a rational thought, it was always going to turn into a witch hunt and throw out any semblance of legal process. Things born out of emotion always do.

That doesn't make sense to me. Like at all.

The western world is literally the safest place in the history of the world, that is an undeniable fact. Compared to any other era, there is less crime, murder, rape and assault than ever before and there is no other place or time where anyone would have been better off. Yet somehow, women seem to now be more paranoid, afraid and angry than ever, even though they are safer, richer and in many areas doing much better than their male equivalent, than ever before.

Just as an example, spend some time on /r/TwoXChromosomes or /r/WitchesVsPatriarchy (some of the largest female communities on the internet), and you'll quickly understand how out of control things have gotten. According to these communities, western countries are rape and murder filled wastelands, where evil, dangerous men hide around every corner just waiting to catch their next prey. And all men are secretly in on it and protecting these vast groups of people, which is why ALL men should be feared, avoided and treated like 'loaded weapons', as they would phrase it. Almost every day I go on reddit, I see at least one or more posts on the front page of /r/all reading something like 'A guy said hello to me, so I ran away in fear because he might be a rapist', with people responding along the lines of 'You are so right, maybe you should get a gun'. It's insane.

Social media has allowed a small group of people to spread false ideas around society (this applies to much more than this subject) that do nothing but create needless opposition and paranoia. #meetoo is one of them. It started out as a righteous and justified protest regarding the revelations surrounding Harvey Weinstein, targeting a small number of rich, powerful individuals (plenty of women in hollywood have abused people too, and people like Terry Crews and Brendan Fraser spoke up about it but were ignored) in the movie and music industry. That lasted for about 5 minutes before the well was poisoned.

Instead of it developing into a useful movement against abusive people in powerful positions, which is what it originally was about, or it opening up a dialog for both men and women to speak about their experiences (in a productive way that brings people together), it quickly developed into a chaotic, mysandrist mess, where everyone who had an awkward date, an uncomfortable conversation, or got a weird look from someone, piled on in the name of this 'rape culture' narrative. Before you knew it the 'not all men' and 'believe all women' memes were brought into existence and the plot was officially lost. And after so many years of this nonsense (alongside many other factors of course), the primary result seems to be that young men are choosing not to date at all anymore, in shockingly large numbers, and both young men and women are taking more antidepressants than ever before.

Secondly, the idea that men are these privileged, oppressive, murdering, raping, beasts, that did nothing but live like kings whilst oppressing and taking advantage of women for the entirety of human history, is categorically false. It is a lie that is being spread by politically motivated, bitter people that seek to divide us. Men and women, from the beginning of time up until the late 1800's, both suffered tremendously, and they did it together. Yes women had their unique struggles and suffering, and of course that should be talked about, but let's stop pretending and pushing this narrative that life was a paradise for men. War, slavery, torture, disease, starvation, crippling back-breaking labour, dire poverty... life was all around hell for men as well. The vast, vast, vast, majority of men living today (and most of the men who are dead and buried) can in no way recognize themselves in the narrative that is being pushed, and I deeply fear the long-term consequences this will have for young men growing up today.

The simple truth is, people in positions of wealth and power have always abused and taken advantage of people who have nothing and no power, throughout the entirety of human history, and then those in power use politics, religion, race, sex and whatever else they can to divide us so we're too occupied with hating each other to make actual systematic changes, or understand eachother's struggles in a meaningful way.

As far as I am concerned, #meetoo is just another item to be added to that list, a loud, chaotic distraction that is driving us towards division and hate. This whole Depp trial, and all the social media attention around it, is a giant symptom of how fed up people are with it, and how frustrated young men are with being painted in this horrid light all the time.

Does Amber Heard have incriminating pictures on some members of the media or something? I just can't understand why they are so willing to die on this hill.

Even BLM and LGBT groups had the sense to distance themselves from Jussie Smollett. They knew a liability when they saw one but modern feminists just circling their wagons around Amber Heard. I don't get it. Are they that unwilling to let one wrongly canceled man have a victory?

Gamer gate was a bunch of nerds yelling at other nerds. It has nothing to do with the AH/JD trial. We can't just substitute gamer gate as the source of discontent whenever social media gets wrapped into a frenzy. Mob mentality is not new. Perhaps we should start blaming the Salem Witch Trials for everything the Twitter crowd wants to bitch about.

Of course they do.

The site was born from the Gawker corporation. Anything that company does is based on bait and opinion articles for click revenue. Their mantra is the dumber the headline and article, the more clicks you get. Maybe that's true.
Think this is bad? Check out Jezebel's take. That site is era on steroids.

This is so true. Forget 1800s, just go back to WW2 and you will see how it disproportionately affected men. In Russia, where some women actually participated in the war and were brutally murdered and raped by the Germans, the death toll for women 6.6 million is still vastly below the 20 million death toll for men.

In western europe, and especially in England and the U.S, the death toll for women was virtually nill. Yes, they were crucial in the war effort, but working in factories, and as nurses isnt exactly the same as getting blown the fuck up.

They did a piece a few days ago trashing Chris Pratt. Who everyone says is like the sweetest guy ever. Why did they trash Chris Pratt? Because they hate him ever since they found out he belongs to a Christian church.

I think it has more to do with the actual pastor and some of the things he's said about the LGBTQIA+ community... I don't think it's about him being Christian or being in a Christian church.

No one has gone after Renee... What's her name? The chick from Lethal Weapon?

Nah, and James Gunn even came to his defense. It's just because he's a Christian. They're trying to cancel him now for showing his kid R-rated movies like Rambo.

Wokeism is just satanism under a more "socially acceptable" label and Twitter is their church.
