Unlike PlayStation, on Xbox you can just change your region and access those games on Xbox Game Pass from other countries. It's the same with Xcloud.

On PlayStation you can't even purchase games from different regions, you need to create another account.

I agree, it probably makes little difference with the CMA block already in place, but for us hearing previously NDA'ed stuff it might be meaningful, as presumably the substance of the suit will now begin.

The latter imo, the judge thinks that the courts would have enough time for the case before the Plaintiffs actually face any harm if it survives the FTC/CMA process.

I need to go back to see when this case was scheduled to be heard.

Feel free to guess probabilities of all the things needed to happen to get the deal across the line, but this week's events have realistically taken the deal from less than hundreds of a percentage point from closing, to one or less percent of closing.

In relative terms it is a big win - on Xbox's personal win scale measurement - but overall the circumstances are unchanged and the deal is dead, because odds of even making it to July 18th to get ATVI to extend at a price Microsoft will agree to is a long shot in itself to even get to a less than 1% chance of closing consideration.
