Considering that he spends most of his day (even weekends) on Twitter batting for Microsoft, I'm not sure it's just "money on the side", seems more like "all of the money". Also love the fact that ERA are tearing him a new one.

Anyway according to the "experts" the appeal is a slam dunk for Microsoft, easy win, the CMA is crumbling under pressure and the arguments are so solid according to space engineers familiar with the matter

Idas just recites stuff from what he knows and is relevant to what is being discussed. Florian just picks any sort of news(even pieces that are irrelevant) and twists it to suit his narrative and provide hopium for anyone willing to try it. Idas is just doing what he's been kindly requested by forum dwellers to do. Nothing wrong with that, besides being called out by the biggest court jester Florian. But what the latter(Florian) does, raises red flags.

What can Microsoft do under section 114? It won't really be of any use to appeal a penalty, will it? Section 120 looks more relevant their appeal.
1) I am 99% certain it's under section 120 cause of the above post.
2) re the difference between the two, I am still unsure but I am just looking at the CAT page, it does seem like 120 is section for more so formergers reviews .

It does seem like it's more related to the decision that the companies are appealling. Re the evidence and what CAT can do is still a bit unknown personally but it sounds like 114 is just about quashing the penalty or reducing it. 120 is the thing that Topher shared before and I am still reading slightly differently (probably incorrectly).

The appeal looks like anything, but a slam dunk. It only very slightly increases their chances of having it granted. Slightly. We're talking a few tenths of a percentage point here. Plus, let's not forget that when it comes to mergers, the CMA has come on top of appeals in 95% of cases. So, in this case, the "experts" have inhaled hopium in obviously unhealthy/overdose amounts.

No need for a witch-hunt. I once or twice gave posters who I think are bad faith actors a thumbs up for actual good posts. Some comments may be fine or interesting and a reaction given seemed proper. We should not be making this personal, but the waters have been sullied by proof of bad faith posting. Great work by a few here (I won't name them as I'll miss out on a few) who called out the bullshit so the thread isn't filled with an echo chamber of shills.Time to look into the people who were liking his posts.

they are fan of a brand so they make news about them, but only positive , when their following grows and get more exposure they get into the xbox ambassador program wich gives them free gifts like gamepass, some free games, brand goodies like socks or hats, they can't post anything negative because you can risk losing your followers and get removed from the program or not being approched by brands
