Theres so many times people say something on era's thread about this that I wish I could respond but alas I don't have an account there. People really don't understand the importance of what Grusch is saying. They act like he's just chilling at a water fountain and someone just told him things. There's first hand witnesses and documents regarding it. It's not just some hearsay. The sooner we can move on from that very uninformed talking point the better.
Also they keep harping about him talking about them possibly being interdimensional. Yeah that's why he's saying he doesn't want to call them ET because they need to keep options open. That's not a red flag that's being smart. We don't know. apparently a lot of things associated with them are very unexplainable and it's that fact that people think maybe there is more to them than we think. It's why they changed the name to Unidentified ANOMALOUS PHENOMENA.

He definitely double downed, so I will give him credit for that. The problem I have is not Grusch, its the people who surround him, basically To The Stars Academy, and the likes of Tom DeLonge. I don't trust them not because they believe in UFOS or UAP's, or whatever, the problem I have is they try to tie almost everything that falls on their lap to UFO's, I remember images they had shown on their website years ago of a supposed sighting, it turned out to be a party balloon and members of metabunk found the same exact balloon, it was undeniable.
Then the whole thing about metamaterials which is likely just industrial slag and then you have the louver ordeal, just on and on and on. Not saying I'm against believing in UFO's, I just want proof that holds up. It's like what Avi Loeb said about senators who were opposed to gays only to come out of the closet themself months later, If there is proof that holds up under scrutiny I will believe it fully.

This is totally fair. My argument would be that yes they are too gung ho but if this stuff is true they've been claiming it for years particularly George Knapp.
Now, I don't think they are trying to trick anybody. I do believe they think this stuff is absolutely true but the truth is if they think that they want to be known as the people who helped expose the greatest cover up and story in history to the public. Which is why you see them everywhere.
I am with you that I kinda wish they would take a step back. It only helps skeptics by trying to claim they are not credible impartial people.

I think assuming this alien species is real and been around for millions of years RELIGION might not be a thing rather than fact of whatever life is.
Like let me put it this way. We have a limited understanding of the universe despite feeling like we know a lot. They might have cracked the code....so their beliefs may just be reality. What if there is a conscious plain of existence which for someone who is religious would probably have depicted it as heaven or some spiritual plain. It's not about belief anymore it's about science and something they've proven. Maybe there is absolutely nothing more to this universe and same but in reverse. The reality is people shouldn't be so dismissive of the reality that we may just not know and they might.
Maybe the religions were created by them to keep people in check and its derived from some form of truth? Maybe we are in a simulation with a programmer having a ton of fun right now. Who knows.

I also remember a professor in ufo history saying that since we know grusch went through appropriate pentagon protocol to divulge this information and was approved to do so, we can infer from this that the information is NOT classified

There’s aliens out there. But they’ve never been here. If they were here we would all know. They wouldn’t survive the thousand year journey, but if they did, they wouldn’t come all the way here to just take a cow and then leave. Annnnd they wouldn’t know who “government officials are” and know to only show themselves to JUST those people - They would expose themselves to everybody.

The problem is this isn’t just some guy. Multiple people with credentials are coming forward and publicly testifying under oath. It really feels like the curtains are being pulled back slowly.
It could be any number of things, we just don’t have the full picture yet.

How do you know what they are capable of surviving? That's absurd. So you think a species that for all we know could have been around for thousands of years or maybe even millions...who knows.... Hasn't figured out how to extend life? Or find shortcuts to space travel? Plus, what many of these people are saying is they've been here for thousands of years potentially.

1: two intelligent civilizations come up around the same time
2: one can travel and survive the thousand year journey to the other

Look not meaning to come off rude. I apologize. Sometimes overly skeptical people rub me wrong. It's okay to be skeptical but this world is far too mysterious to be in outright denial of possibilities. These are well decorated people, they deserve to be heard. Lets see what happens. It could be a giant fake or a disinformation campaign but shutting any possibility down just kills the conversation.
This would be the biggest story in all of human history....if true. Encouraging this to play out will help get to the bottom of what's actually going on. There's a lot of credible....normal people hinting and talking about this stuff and it's bizarre. Bizarre enough to be looked into properly because who knows?

The average distance between two rocks in the asteroid belt is between 600,000 miles to 1,000,000 miles. You could fly through the asteroid belt blindfolded and never come close to crashing once!!!
And that’s just our asteroid belt.
The nearest star that houses a goldilocks type planet to Harbor life is not remotely close enough for Anything that’s alive to survive the journey. All life dies. It would have to be AI

Just to be clear. I sound sure of things. I'm not and it's my fear that we are being lied to because something else is going on and they need a massive psyop for some reason.
Having said that I want to believe this is true because it'd be huge even if it's terrifying. It's an exciting prospect to know we aren't alone in this universe and we've made contact. I just hope information truly gets released so we can put it to rest
