Developer Mundfish has released a new gameplay teaser trailer for Atomic Heart, its upcoming adventure first-person shooter set in an alternate universe during the high noon of the Soviet Union.

The trailer shows a closer look at the laboratory of the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics, which is used to carry out experiments on people and construct robots.

Atomic Heart is in development for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.

Nah I think it's very much real. People underestimate the level of talent some of the smaller development studios in eastern Europe and the CIS region have.

Nvidia wouldn't put them in the spotlight and allow them to be part of their RTX marketing strategy if this was some massive scam.

Obviously there's some game there but my worries are if it's truly a game game and not just a tech demo which nvidia wouldn't really care as long as it showcased RTX. I hope I'm wrong because visually it looks amazing.

Yeh it could just end up being a visual showcase tech demo and play like shit but that could be said of any game that looks pretty. I'm hoping for the best because the setting looks wild. Even if the game isn't great to play its something I'd most likely buy at some point just to marvel at when I get new hardware,

First impressions of this game were so positive, I was really looking forward to playing it. Then early 2019 they released a gameplay demo (link).. and it sucked. So f*ckin generic and boring, despite the artstyle. I really hope they can turn it around, because at first I got serious "impressive Bioshock inspired FPS" vibes.
