Yeah he doesn't have his own show except for EZAnime with Ben. In GT I remember him doing plenty of overall game footage capturing. And for the Dark Souls retro I think it will be his text too and not only game footage.

As I said earlier, it's just not Ian. Plenty of articles written about it. If you are fine with his portrayal of women, then you are. But it's also fair criticism. Lynch isn't untouchable. Brushing criticism off as "he does weird stuff" seems like pretty shallow view on Lynch and his works.
I'm supposed to have Ian on my Twin Peaks Podcast in a couple weeks, I'm really glad to hear this is his opinion of the new show. He'll fit right in with my co-hosts and I as we are generally not liking it either.

He's just brad though, he just a legit pro, platinuming dark souls, collecting lego sets.
Brad's done 3 reviews so far. Overwatch, I Am Setsuna, and KH 2.8. He's currently writing the Souls Retro. He's also the co-host of EZAnime.
That's the opposite of what you'd want, no? A bunch of people all agreeing on a subject, doesn't make for good discussion, it seems to me.
He's also the focal point in the most pivotal moment of Easy Allies so far:

Yeah, just asked him on twitter. Though I did personalize it and made sure to say that the reason I knew he was a Twin Peaks fan was because I saw him on a stream at GT wearing a "Coop's Diner" shirt that I own as well.
Usually yes, but the Twin Peaks fanbase is sharply divided over this season. Everyone is at each other's throats. We've had some incidents where people who like it are on the show and aren't able to handle anyone criticizing this "masterpiece". You should see the hate mail we get for being the only Twin Peaks Podcast out there that's not liking it.
Uh huh.
Important reminder that it's not just the gamers who get all bent out of shape. =D

I'd just like to add to this - the Poképark streams are fantastic. I watch them over a number of nights (maybe 30 minutes at a time), the chill nature of them is just perfect for putting on while winding down.
If you're all spending time engaging with horrible comments at least report them.
Bloodworth is the editor-in-chief. Him, Kyle, and Ben also do a bunch of moderation.

Yeah, there's plenty of stuff I don't agree with when it comes to any of the allies. Our tastes don't often really even match that well. But they are so much fun to follow and I take it as chance to learn about new stuff I otherwise wouldn't look into! It bums me out sometimes that I so rarely get to share my excitement with EZA, they gravitate towards other things than what I love.
I believe Huber was there first.
If Kyle hasn't ever played Psychonauts, he definitely should! So Patrons might be doing him a favor =P

As far as I'm aware these are their regular roles:
Jones: Trailer Jones, Community Comments and video editing, plus Cup of Jones occasionally.
Blood: Blood Pact, editor-in-chief and maintains the website, Twitch channel and Youtube channel.
Damiani: Friend Code, stream tech (I don't know what else to call it) plus Game Sleuth occasionally.
Ben: Frame Trap, Tabletop Escapades, EZAnime and organises the Q&A's.
Kyle: EZA Podcast, Box Peek and organises the group stream picks.
Huber: Huber Syndrome, Reaction Shots and Talking Syndrome.
Ian: Easy Update, Reaction Shots, Fiasconauts and video editing.
Brad: EZAnime.
Don: Video editing, plus awesome videos occasionally.
Jones, Blood, Damiani, Ben, Huber and Brad also write reviews/previews. Brad's writing/capturing the Souls retrospective. And everyone except Don does streams and podcast appearances.
I'm sure I'm missing some other things. They dabble in other areas at times too, like I think (and could be wrong) Damiani does Friend Code's video editing.
Nope. I'm pretty sure Brad's said he's the only one who never worked at Viacom, he was hired after Defy bought GT.

Close, Brandon's Editor in Chief and I'm Managing Editor, although those titles are really just there for people in the industry to have a clear idea who to talk to. I do essentially manage the bulk of the editorial side of things - keeping track of game releases, requesting copies of games, getting people to preview meetings, booking appointments for stuff like E3, editing the scripts for pretty much every review, preview, retrospective, etc. I particularly keep eyes on every step of the review process.
I also do a lot of management on the YouTube channels and website, make thumbnails for editorial content, Huber Syndrome, and streams, post the streams to YouTube, update the site schedule, I'm the point of contact for the forum mods, etc. There's probably a lot more stuff too, but if you want to just call me the "Reviews Producer" that's simple enough to understand too.
Thanks for all you do, Blood, your hard work is appreciated. Also thanks for being around to answer questions, its always helpful to see some inside insight.

I'm 'brushing it off' because this is the Easy Allies thread, not the Twin Peaks one, and I didn't want to derail it further. Nothing shallow about trying to defuse the 'tension' (lol) but sure, name calling is always a valid way to get your point across.

I think Ian is a hard personality to broadcast to a wide audience. I don't usually care for his content, but he's a kind of guy I'd love to sit and chat about life and have friendly debates on things.
I'm pretty sure we'd disagree on a lot of things, but he seems like a guy I can frequently disagree with in an edifying and peaceful way.

Cheers, Blood. I knew you do a lot behind the scenes (though not as much as you just listed, which is a ton of stuff), I just wasn't sure how to properly summarise it. So thanks for the clarifications. Even Reviews Producer doesn't sound descriptive enough though, but if you're fine with that title then that's cool.

The only time Ian annoys me is when he makes stuff up to try and win arguments but that rarely happens anyway, so he's generally pretty great.
I really don't think I've called you by any names? Apologies if it came off that way. It's just that you judged Ian for his (valid) criticism of Lynch and used "Lynch does weird stuff" as a counter argument to it. Doing weird stuff doesn't excuse it. You can be weird with better portrayed women characters. And reducing Lynch to "weird" isn't really fair to Lynch either. He is a higher caliber filmmaker afterall, but does mistakes and people expect more from him. And if EZA talks about games, movies, tv-shows, discussing those and what they said about it in this thread isn't derailing by any means. What else would we talk here about? =) So please elaborate if you want to. But if you don't want to, I wont push any further ofcourse.

Sure thing. I hope it actually happens. He agreed to being a guest way back in May before Twin Peaks the Return even started. He might have forgotten about it by now, or maybe he's not even watching anymore.

I dunno. The game does have a strong following, but personally I found it to be an alright game with a few moments of brilliance. So it's pretty good overall, but I don't consider it a must-play game.
Speaking of Patreon polls, I'm positively surprised by how evenly the group stream game vote has started off. I was sure Sonic Mania would overwhelm the competition all the way from the start. I do hope that Mania doesn't win, because A) I'm certain someone will stream it anyway, and B) I'm one of them fools who will wait for the PC version, which is still a little ways off.

I wasn't paying Hellblade any mind before, but Huber's review along with general impressions make it seem like it's worth a go. I'll keep it on my Steam wishlist for future deals at least, for now.
This is the first time I've seen footage of the game, looks interesting.
Also the main character's face looks very familiar but I can't quite place it...

I'm in the same camp. Until now it seemed nothing special and not particularly well executed. All the praise definitely put it my wish-list now.
The only thing preventing me to jump right now is the release timing: it doesn't seem a game particularly well suited to summer gaming. Maybe a summer release made sense for this year release schedule, but the game gives me a late fall/winter vibe. It's no Mario sunshine for sure...
Your job and duties always sounded like the more properly "journalistic" ones compared to the rest of the allies.

I played Hellblade to be in the zeitgeist for once, not for me. Enjoyed the combat but almost nothing else.

He is though, like most of the allies. He never(?) tweeted about any of this year's political events. Huber on the other hand did so twice, which I respect him a lot for.

Ahh thanks. Sorry if I sounded interrogative, didn't mean to be — was just curious on roles/specialities, and sort of have been even prior to EZA, and kept forgetting to ask.
