Make it night time during a thunder storm and you'll shit your pantsACC on pc is still the best looking racing sim ever, and it got even better with the latest update. It support now DLSS and runs incredible smooth at 4k while looking insane.
I'll buy it anyway, but it's still arcadey as shit and those ultra exaggerated tire screeches really turn me off. Hope they add a good "dirty air" effect on corners, not just an exaggerated tow on cars that are too slow to take much advantage of it in real life.Looks great IMO, not sure why some are complaining.
Well as soon as it is not a replay, GT loses all the graphics
Just amazing stage textures that , at times, look photorealistic.Do we know what were the differences between FH5 from current gen to last gen ? Because apart from 60fps or may be the motion blur I am not sure there is much in it.
Slightly off topic but i have a question for any devs on here that happen to see this post.nope
They’re usually flat images that always have to face the screen at all times, so they literally turn on the spot.Slightly off topic but i have a question for any devs on here that happen to see this post.
You see the top screen in the quoted post, its has the same tree model 7 times next to each other. I have no problem with devs using the same tree models over and over, but why do they not twist them a bit, you know plant each tree at a different angle, so it makes it harder to see that its the same tree used over and over.
You see this all the time in games and i can never get why devs dont think 'i'll plant this tree at that angle, then i'll turn this same tree a bit and plant it here' etc. They dont though, they tend to plant the trees like you see in the above pic, at the exact same angle, making it obvious its the same tree.
Any reason why that would be devs?, is it becaue the trees are not hand planted and a AI is generating trees and foliage etc?.
Make sure the game is playable without crashes. They took years and years to make this, the first real GT after GT6 on PS3, and this is what they show up with? They will not fix anything in a measly couple of months. No this notoriously slow Developer. So what do you think they will do from now till release?
I get that with flat tree graphics, as they are basically sprites, but those tree models look like proper 3d assets. And again even with full 3D tree assets, you still get the same problem often in games. They’re usually flat images that always have to face the screen at all times, so they literally turn on the spot.
Why should I play COD if I can just join the military?Unless you're Cristiano Ronaldo and own dozens of supercars, you can't really drive like you drive in Gran Turismo.
(If you are Cristiano, Leo is better, sorry mate)
Haters gonna hate.Looks great IMO, not sure why some are complaining.
Is it like that in every stage every where, if not then it may just be that the artist made a mistake when creating the stage and forgetting to rotate those trees.I get that with flat tree graphics, as they are basically sprites, but those tree models look like proper 3d assets. And again even with full 3D tree assets, you still get the same problem often in games.
Not sure if serious…..I'd wait for official gameplay videos.
It might also get delayed and become another cross-gen game.Clearly cross-gen but that was expected given the speed of development from PD. Guess GT8 will release at the end of the generation to be a true PS5 game.
Sprite looking trees. I was expecting & the piss poor AO on the inside of the car looked like it was doing some weird stuff with screen space to pull off the AO and maybe that's why it looked so grainy. What looks rough to you apart from the shadow pop in?
Tbh, I don’t think FH5 is that much more impressive than FH4 was on XoneX, particularly at 60 FPS. In the same way that the PS4 Pro version of GT Sport looks so similar to GT7. In fact, GT Sport cars were designed to be future proof for the next gen. In any racing game, the car should be the star, and it really is in GT.How is this blowing people's mind here? It looks good that's for sure but not very different than GTS, definitely not a game from a newer generation.
Haters gonna hate.
GT will always remain the racing game to beat. Just look Forza 7, it’s dead and buried, whereas GT Sport is still being competitively played and hosting world championships events.
