Heard the word "biome" maybe 5 times before today, now is fucking trending.
Xbox is easily the system of the year. And it is just the beginning for MS studios.
Its classed as DLC for the MP client, I doubt there will be a preload. Its weird there is still no preload and its releasing in 2 days.
I still don't think deathloop deserves such a high score. I'm certain its only due to it being a timed exclusive. If it was cross platform it would probably be in the mid to high 70s.For me, all these reviews and scores mean nothing, but I've played both halo and the new forza and I have to say that they are both very good. Yet to check out fligh sim and I just checked out psychonauts 2 on xcloud for 30 mins so I can't pass any judgement.
If the scores mean anything, then it seems like xbox has like 1 game or something
Probably save us from having to redownload half of it then, or have it as two icons. Campaign already shows up as one of the menu options on the main page, so it kinda makes sense to integrate it like this I guess? Still a little weird. Its classed as DLC for the MP client, I doubt there will be a preload.

I tried searching online but it's all over the place; some say 28gb, some 48gb, or 90gb... in the meantime all my saved games on the Series S internal are sweating cause they know there'll be a "Red Party" to make room for InfiniteLast I heard the game was around 90 GB total, no source on that but I think it was a store page
Agreed. Sometimes we forget they're humans and have goals and families; plus, I believe, any developer would want to see their product succeed. Glad they're efforts are paying off. And they keep working on it.I'm actually really pleased for 343i. They work so damn hard, but get shat a lot. It will be good for the devs to see this after last year's media teabagging over the gameplay trailer.
What a garbage review. If you hate Halo and sit there trashing the story and NPCs then why the f*** are you reviewing it?
This review sounds more like a Sony fan grudge/hate-playing this game so they feel they can hate on the game on NeoGAF threads.
i was curious and also looked at his Bright Memory Infinite and he was pretty positive on that one.... yikes. Can't say I align with his tastes at allReviews are opinions basically, but when I heard him say that the graphics look like something straight of the 360... um... 360 not even Xbox One LMAO. As long as this guys score doesn't count towards the Meta.
I think you need to Google meltdown definition.Mid-high, mid-high. Let’s at least give an honest appraisal.
You’re one of the meltdown brigade so it’s hilarious you’ve quoted him to be honest
an accident in a nuclear reactor in which the fuel overheats and melts the reactor core or shielding.I think you need to Google meltdown definition.
I don't think you're under any pressure to redefine straightforward terms, only to admit that human discourse is generally a mix of the two and that trying to strictly demarcate one type from the other is to miss the point. I can't find a review by Jez Corden, but 'excellent' doesn't really say much as a review goes. A dollar bet says if Jez and Ryan sit down, they'll probably agree on most points and where they don't it won't be hard to fathom why. Understanding this and anticipating common objections is a part of the review process and most reviewers do it - they're writing for a very broad audience, after all.
And 'good' or 'bad' writing is much the same - it's not telling you anything. Personally, I have abnormally high bar for what I consider good storytelling, but I also appreciate (as a gamer) that most big games aren't aiming create works of mindboggling narrative genius, just really fun, lighthearted stories that fit with with general themes, setting and gameplay of the title. Any story can be good or bad in context: Schindler's List is a fucking terrible comedy film and Robocop completely fails as a romantic comedy. Again, none of this should really need pointing out as it's all common sense, but - as I also said - arch-reductionism (literal one word reviews) is the bread and butter of online debate.
Halo Infinite transforms the series' two-decade-old formula for the better, giving protagonist Master Chief more characterization and implementing an open world.

"best halo campaign in years" - gamespot
I mean it's pretty hard not to be after 4/5
Halo 5 MP was great though. In this case, MP is separateAbout the same score Halo 5 had lol. So I'm assuming it's a 7 or 8/10. Not surprised that Jeff Grubb, Windows Central, and Ryan from IGN are praising the hell out of it. These same people praised the hell out of Halo 5's mediocre campaign
New girl looks kinda nice in that respectDoes Cortana still have a big butt or no?
Not your average Halo at all. This is meaningful from such a big Halo content creator that loves the lore and campaigns. You have others calling it the best one, or close to it.
His Halo 5 score is outrageous, though, but I get that its story simply didn't deliver on its potential, and there were other issues with its structure.
Dumped so much capital in the game you figure it would at least been a 90 meta. Maybe next time.
Yea i was like really when I saw that. I honestly just do not get the Hate 5 gets story wise. To me it felt like a natural continuation of where they were going from 4. I would have loved to see more chief and team in it no doubt. I'll also be first to say Halo 5's marketing was pretty much false advertising. However when I judge it based on the story it presented I really liked it. I was honestly interested in seeing where we went from it's ending.
To each their own though and I realize I'm in the minority when it comes to Halo 5's story. Also though I have no doubt Infinite will keep me interested too. I just really hope it ties things up for outstanding plot lines from 5 well enough or at least progresses them somewhat.
Better than ODST? Man's playing with fire...Not your average Halo at all. This is meaningful from such a big Halo content creator that loves the lore and campaigns. You have others calling it the best one, or close to it.

Hopefully it's fun. Halo 5 looked fun but was a snoozer.
I kinda of agree with the lack of biomes stuff. Seems like an easy fix and would have added alot to the game.
You'll only be starting the download at 5AMMotherf@E@$E#$@#$E@!e2q9fi_(Fdsjz'lv
Thx. I miss the old days of getting things first with my New Zealand brothers and sisters.
EDIT: alright, if I can get up before 7AM to workout with my son I can get up at 5AM to play Infinite. Better be gud.

I can see that complaint without a doubt. That's one reason I really wanted to see where they were gonna go from it's ending. We finally had everyone back together and on the same side. We had a Cortana that meant well in the beginning but had gone too far was going about it the wrong way and probably isn't all there still in spite what she says in the game about having cured herself.Halo 5 was the best playing in the series, and the story not being to my desires doesn't change that. The verticality was a big addition, and you could see the building blocks of what would become Infinite. I actually enjoyed squad commands, so sucks for those to go, and I didn't hate Osiris. It's just right when the story was really getting fucking good is when it pretty much ended off, and that's what hurt Halo 5. It felt like the story was transitional, and less like it was a bigger story that intended to be finished. We were just kinda left at "whoa, whoa, we want to actually play this shit now, don't end now" territory lol.

If they had followed on Halo 6 could have been interesting. At least to me. But oh well that game ceased to exist and Infinite is what we have now. Hence I'll play it and see where they go now.
True true. It's one reason I'm not hating on Infinite. I'm glad 343 didn't just pull an oh that didn't happen. This at least allows you to come back to plot points slowly over time. It's also one reason I really do wanna play the game just to see how much is explained over the course of the game. What I love about Halo Infinite is they don't just dismiss the events of 5. It all happened, it all took place, and just there's a mystery to much of what's taking place since the time chief was rescued, and both the player and "the weapon" figure it out and deal with things as they come. I hear the dynamic between the pilot, Chief and weapon are fantastic. And the structure of the banished is very well done apparently. They are aware of others, there are relationships amongst them etc.
And a bunch of major people I respect all saying there are some major moments where you cheer throughout the campaign basically. Seems like it might have a bunch of badass "bringing the covenant back their bomb" moments it seems lol.
It's looking extremely unlikely, means I probably won't even be able to play it until ThursdayCan you not predownload?
