Over 100k
-Ganbare Goemon! Toukai Douchuu (Konami)

If Goemon games can't even break 100k on N64/PS1/PS2, what makes you think this title will break 100k on the DS?

250k, prolly less.

FEPOR is the worst selling game in the series since Thracia 776 (FE V).

Yes, but that's because it's on Gamecube. Thracia 776 still sold less though, because it was a SNES game released in 1999.

jarrod can't get it right every time. :D

The GameCube is pretty much hopeless in Japan it seems. It's like Nintendo doesn't care it's selling amounts barely more than the attendance rate of my high school. Seeing as how Nintendo never dropped the price of the N64 below 14,000 Yen, I doubt they'll come around for the GC as well. What a shame.

Well FEVI seemed to renew interest. After FEV, I think that game pulled over 300k or perhaps it was 280k. Each installment afterwards has sold less than the one previous since then. Can't remember if Sacred Stones cracked 200k there.

Anyway, with a NA release, it should perform a bit better. Probably end up as one of the top four best selling in the series.

Anyone amazed at how Ruby and Sapphire are STILL there?

At this rate Diamond and Pearl might be on the charts in 2008. :lol

I know, let's do a sales chart for the best selling 3rd party DS+psp games that have been released this year.

DS+PSP Sales between Dec 27/04 - Jun 26/05

01. DS 173,737 Naruto Saikyou Ninja Daikesshu (Tomy)
02. PSP 173,707 Tales of Eternia (Namco)
03. DS 89,193 Pac-Pix (Namco)
04. DS 84,109 Egg Monster Hero (Square-Enix)
05. DS 73,610 Bokujou Monogatari Corobockle Station (Marvellous)
06. DS 72,786 SD Gundam G Generation DS (Bandai)
07. PSP 68,395 Namco Museum (Namco)

Oh look, the psp is really really struggling with only 2 of the top 7, with only Tales being a true success what with it being a top tier franchise and all. Mind you, the fact that the 2 best releases for the sexy powerful ps2 level portable playstation are a psone port and a retro collection says it all regarding why the psp itself struggling.

And now, let's throw in the GBA just for kicks:

Portable Sales between Dec 27/04 - June 26/05

01 GBA 222,199 Mushiking (Sega)
02 GBA 189,834 Rockman EXE 5 Team of Colonel (Capcom)
03. DS 173,737 Naruto Saikyou Ninja Daikesshu (Tomy)
04. PSP 173,707 Tales of Eternia (Namco)
05. GBA 164,884 Super Robot Taisen Original Generation 2 (Banpresto)
06. GBA 113,414 Tales of the World: Narikiri Dungeon 3 (Namco)
07. DS 89,193 Pac-Pix (Namco)
08. DS 84,109 Egg Monster Hero (Square-Enix)
09. DS 73,610 Bokujou Monogatari Corobockle Station (Marvellous)
10. DS 72,786 SD Gundam G Generation DS (Bandai)
11. PSP 68,395 Namco Museum (Namco)

Pwned?

Not really. The true point isn't whether the DS or the psp is better for 3rd parties. The true equation is:
3rd party handheld games = Teh Suck
Nintendo handheld games = Ownage
