Any bullshit plan anyone is going to come up with like this is predicated on one thing: Microsoft acquiring ABK. People need to get that through their skulls. Microsoft cannot acquire ABK. There is no corporate structure they can concoct that makes this all work. They have to work through the regulatory process just like the rest of the world.

Microsoft has one path forward. 1) Convince the CAT that some of the CMA's findings are irrational or not legally sound. 2) Go back to the CMA and try and find some common ground to work on from that ruling in the renewed Phase 2 3) Hope all the public statements ridiculing the CMA does come back to bite them in their ass.
