For some reason I imagine if she is cheating with anyone it's Launch. It would explain Launch's random disappearance as after goku's first death Launch just moved out to the forest with chi chi, but once goku was coming back she had to hide so the truth wouldn't come out. but every time goku leaves for an extended time Launch comes back out of hiding to be with chichi...

but alas I am more going to go with she is just loyal. If anyone is making their way through all of the z fighters it's Bulma.

RoF had a quick turnaround. I imagine Funimation wants to do it as soon as possible, but they haven't announced anything. They did say they had some big stuff planned for the summer season so we'll see soon.

the movie had good turn around, the second half of kai is still missing in action.

If Funimation had their perfect way they would just spacy dandy that stuff and have the dub airing at the same time... that is unlikely at this time.

If Funimation had their next best way they would have it as a simulcast and then pick it up for a dub cast about 6 weeks later. this is more likely than the list but still not likely since they haven't simulcasted dba kai. That being said toei produces one piece and they do simulcast that and they have talked about dubcasting that before.

If funimation has their next best way after that they are then in a bidding war with nick and cartoon network for the rights to air the new series and could be trapped in that for a while and could be 3-12 months before we see dubbed kai. this is the most likely route.

and in the worst case scenario the reason we haven't seen dubbed kai second part is because cartoon network doesn't want it released before they air it (which they will do after they finish kai part 1) and then will not want db super dubbed until after they finish airing db kai part 2 which would put us at about 3 years away from the release. While I could fully see cartoon network doing this/wanting this, toei knows db is big in the US and wouldn't want to wait that long for the money from super as kai being held back isn't a huge deal as you can still sell dbz figures/games but the new super stuff needs a new series. I would peg this slightly less likely than the dubcast route.

It was likely part of the agreement for CN to show kai that the second half couldn't be released until after they aired it on CN. Which we are still quite a ways away from them airing the second half. It's the only reason I can think of why funimation would stay quite and sit on already dubbed stuff as I am sure they would love to get paid for the work they have already done.

Sigh. They're going out of their way to make the series stagnate and not evolve. Kid Goten and Trunks have already been mentioned, but does anyone else hate that Vegeta is wearing Saiyan armor? There used to be a nice progression with him losing parts of his Saiyan clothes every saga, up until EoZ where he straight up wears Earthling clothes.

During the Buu saga, Vegeta was wearing just the blue jumpsuit without the Saiyan armor. In the Tarble special and Battle of Gods, he was wearing the armor again but it was explained that he wears the full armor for "special occasions". But now he's wearing the full armor yet again in Super. The special occasion thing was just an excuse, they just want him to wear it all the time, his character development be damned.

I loved Videl and Gohan's relationship at the beginning of the Buu saga. Videl will obviously be pushed aside now...

Yeah, Toriyama's handling of female characters has gotten kinda bad compared to DBZ. In Resurrection F, Krillin tells 18 to stay behind while he goes to fight Freeza's army, despite the fact that 18 is stronger than him.

Trunks and Goten still looking like they're 7 years old bugs me out a lot. Watching Gohan grow from a kid to a teen to adult was one thing I loved about Z.

I'm also glad the show is taking on the "there are other gods of destruction out there" concept, but these two new designs (fat Beerus, girl Whis) are disappointing. Hopefully they're not carbon copies of Whis and Beerus personality wise and are just there to ease us into the whole "different universes" concept.

Also it's a stretch but this makes me wonder if different universe versions of the main characters will be making appearances along with that universe's respective god (Female Goku, Wimpy Vegeta, a universe where the human fighters kept up or surpassed the Sayains)

Thinking about this stuff reminds me of DB Multiverse.

He didn't know Whis was training them in RoF. He actually asked Goku how they got there (to his planet). So RoF was the first time he woke up after going to sleep in BoGs.

I guess I got the wrong impression from the scenes I've seen of the movie.

I don't see what's odd about it at all. It doesn't look like he'd need his full power in the scene we saw him use his regular ssj transformation. In RoF he specifically said the blue ssj form is using ssj with the power of ssjg, so it's possible he just didn't use the god power when transforming in that scene.

Hm... the site's picture now shows Kuririn with his BoGs design too. In spite of what you said regarding Beerus, I'm really even more convinced now that this show will start before RoF. It being post RoF also would be odd because Goku doesn't seem to be training with Whis, even though he clearly hadn't finished his training in RoF. I don't think they'd just skip something like that.

Also is there any chance this series makes the very end of Z not canon anymore? I mean by the time Uub comes along even if Goku could train him to use Kid Buu's full power it would be shit compared to Super Sayian god. Seems pointless.

They could just go with him having a huge boost from training like Freeza, since Kid Buu presumably had never trained either. So, a trained Uub would be much stronger than Kid Buu.

Beerus might not even give a shit. He has some fondness for Goku and perhaps Vegeta but he is the god of destruction. He has destroyed countless worlds before.

Lets say that Fat Beerus and Girl Whis are another pair from another dimension. The only reason Beerus would even bother to stop them is because it's "his" world to destroy. Unless they are actively trying to destroy him .. for reasons.

I mean if he does consider them a threat and wants to stop them then I would assume he will kick his training up another level. We have no idea how long he has trained in the past. Just that in his current state he is less powerful that Whis. Bearing in mind that we don't know the upper limits of Whis power either and Beerus sleeps for centuries at a time when he could be training.

I'm not gonna try to make sense of anything at this point since Super is clearly doing a "fuck that, we just do what we want" thing, all I can hope is that the series is good.

I don't want this to be a Pokemon thing though, I hope the characters age a little bit. We got to see Teen Goten and Teen Trunks, but we never got to see, 12 year old trunks for example, maybe we'll get that since it's only 100 episodes.
