This quote is also used as an objective in my MMO obsession this gen: Boundless.
It's a voxel building game, MMORPG, it looks 10 times better than Minecraft and has way more to it, I call it Minecraft for adults. There are many planets and it's a shared universe. Everyone is there at the same time. It's also cross-play between PC and PS4 (yep, no Xbox, Sony paid heavily for this actually, it's a crying shame people don't seem to know it well).
I never liked Minecraft, it looks very dated but also the gameplay didn't grab me. So I go exploring and then build stuff, ok, then what? With Boundless you can build (and you can build so many more nice things it's crazy!), go hunting, there's an in-game economy so you can run shops and sell to other players, go explore, specialise in 1 thing or another, etc., etc. it's amazeballs and I've clocked over 4k hours in since release in September 2018 on both PS4 and PC! It's also the reason why I have a gigantic backlog for the PS4!
Plus the devs are super nice, small Indie team from the UK, for example, last year I had to get some surgery and be in hospital for a while. Couldn't bring my PS4 Pro (it was one of those loud mofo's) but I did bring my Nvidia Shield with me to play streaming games using my Steam library, they gave me a Steam key for the game so I could keep playing while in hospital! How many devs do such things?
It's also funny when they showed the raytracing demo of Minecraft with the lighting and all that, well Boundless does all of it really rather well by, of course, faking it but it looks really very nice!
And pretty soon (now in Testing) they will release Sovereign and Creative Worlds, both rental worlds, every world runs on it's own server (instance) so you basically rent a server. Sovereigns are like normal public planets and need to obey the same rules as such, Creative worlds, well, you can give your self basically everything you want instead of needing to grind for it. They will also add Lua scripting to Creative worlds to make your own mods that run on the server (so everyone sees the same thing without needing to install mods locally). Lua scripting is currently only supported in local creative mode called sandbox mode (here the planet server runs on your pc, not supported on PS4). I am eagerly awaiting to get my hands on my own little world!

Sorry for the spam but I just love this game so much!
