Lol all these shock pics and gifs.

So I guess now we know maybe why MS made that bizarrely-timed Xbone price-cut announcement.

Now the $399 sku will make things interesting.

So Xbone's numbers are 115k? No wonder MS announced the Kinectless Xbone. If they had just stuck with it... well, it wouldn't have been good. Probably would have been worse than the PS3 in its first year.

Xbox 360 version launched in April, and the Xbox 360 version outsold the Xbox One version in April.

True, but I still think the Xbone version probably did respectably.

Xbox One is doing fine!

On a more serious note, I am now convinced the deals and Titanfall have sold Xboxes through February and March and based on the numbers in January and April, it was not minor. Would Xbox One have done 100k numbers aswell without Titanfall in those two months? I willing to bet it would have. MS is in a bad spot and the launch and Titanfall have clouded the extent of it. These proceedings have triggered the Kinect drop for sure.

PS: I was almost spot on for Xbox One in prediction thread, what do I win?!

If Mario Kart 8 does its job, the Wii U could potentially outsell the Xbox One in May-June.

Think about that.

Makes it fairly obvious why Kinect is being kicked to the curb. It doesn't justify the price difference for most people.

This explains MS's recent actions in a crystal clear manner.

Xbox One sold 115,000 units in the U.S. in the month of April and has outpaced box 360 sales by 76 percent in the first six months on the market.
Xbox 360 continues to grow its install base with 71,000 units sold in April in the U.S., more than any other seventh generation console.

WAIT, so you are telling me that the One sold like shit BUT the 360 sold better than any other 7th gen console?!

Who would have thought that everyone was buying a PS4 instead of a PS3, so the PS3 didn't sell that great?!

You spin me right round baby, MS.

Goddamn. Xbox One went all in on sales, promotions, bundles, Titanfall marketing. It's fair to say they did all they could.

I sure would like hardware numbers for other platforms. If 360 outsold all the other seventh-gen consoles at ~70,000, and the XB1 was below the PS4 at 115,000...this wasn't a strong month.

With people possibly holding off until June to buy the Kinect-less Xbox One, May is going to be brutal IMO.

Infamous SS didn't chart? What the hell are the PS4 users playing? Twitch Plays Pokemon?

Infamous is flooding the used games market. Some times they have been traded-in the second time.

The ratio of people with trophies vs sales should be disproportionately high. That is the problem with short SP game.

Think about that.

If Mario Kart was out today and not he end of the month, I think the WiiU would have a chance to beat the lame duck Xbox One this month before the price drop kicks in
