A bit of an update on this:

Kansas Man Indicted for Hate Crime
A federal grand jury has indicted Adam Purinton—the man who shot two Indian immigrants at a bar in Olathe, Kansas on February 22—for a hate crime, the U.S. Department of Justice announced Friday. Purinton, a 52-year-old resident of Olathe, was also accused of violating a federal firearms statute. He was previously charged with first-degree murder and two counts of attempted murder, and is currently being held in the Johnson County jail on a $2 million bond. If convicted, Purinton could face the death penalty or life in prison.
White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer has since argued there is no link between President Trump’s immigration policies and an increase in racially-motivated violence in the U.S. “To suggest that there’s any correlation I think is a bit absurd,” Spicer said at a February 24 press briefing. In front of a joint session of Congress on February 28, Trump also responded to the incident in indirect terms, saying that “we are a country that stands united in condemning hate and evil in all its forms.” At a vigil held a few days earlier, Kuchibhotla’s widow, Sunayana Dumala, demanded more than words. “I need an answer from the government,” she said. “What is it they’re going to do to stop these hate crimes?”

afaik severe PTSD usually ends with the person taking their own life, not other peoples.
This guy clearly had a lot more going on than just that.

The GOP has blood on their hands for fueling this fire.

Where's the same fervor from the GOP, Fox News etc. when they claimed Beyonce's Formation or Obama's... literally everything was feuling anti-white and/or anti-police sentiment?

A single song from Beyonce and white American conservatives were more than ready to talk about "racism" against them. Now multiple hateful incidents of brown American citizens being attacked or killed and openly citing "Trump's America", "we don't want you here" etc. result in complete silence or claims that hateful, bigoted rhetoric from our president and hateful, bigoted violence suddenly has zero correlation or somehow isn't realistic and every minority is an ass for thinking so.

EDIT: man, my phone made a mess of that post

I honestly believe racism disappears for gop/Republicans/conservatives when it actually happens. That whoLe racism paradox thing should be written and peer reviewed because it's true as fuck.

Only when it's against them, whatever slight, it becomes visible again ans the worst thing in the entire world. Which it should be. But it's only on their terms when it is or not and that's the problem. I understand though, much like trauma victims will totally delete or suppress memories, being associated with the horrors of the not so distant past, in any way, is just something their minds can't cope to. Because it means their world view of bootstraps and post racial society is all twaddle, and that brown people really do have a bone to pick with society. It's not equal, and they've been taking advantage for so long.

That's a ton to about face to. Which is why it is always argued and debated so heavily. No one willingly gets a world view change. Well few do. But those few aren't the majority of voters. People directly responsible for the world today..

We never came to terms with racism here. One of the main issues, just changed form legally.
But many people still live in the world where brown people are less than them. Can you blame them? Their world didn't change after segregation/slavery. Brown people didn't revolt and demand respect. It was settled by them, and we just continued forward. Society declared "eh, you're good now right bro?" But never came to that conclusion from within. Just legally.
