I believe their strategy changed after that. When Starfield flopped, didn't move consoles or increased GP subs. The HW consoles sales decline in the 4-5 months would've also contributed to that.

But to your point, perhaps that's what they did tell to Sony, and perhaps that's why Jim Ryan signed that deal without any fuss.

So is this acrually the end of ms? I mean if i was a dev i just wouldnt bother releasing on xbox at this point but from the sounds of it it sounds like this is just temporary which imo is just as bad like whats the point in owning an xbox just for gamepass and a comfortable controller

I don't know, just a big part of my gaming time these days, but if it eventually comes to an end then life goes on as they say.
