Gonna get this and Capcom Arcade Vol. 2 today, whenever they decide to show up on psn.
Was hoping to see them available when I got up this morning, but it ain't gonna be one of those days.

I'm in the US so about 5 hours behind you.

Edit: No this says you are right and I should be able to download, but I'm not getting the option to.

"As for the exact release time for Stray, the PlayStation Store states the title will launch at 1AM PT / 4AM ET / 9AM BST."

When I check PS Store, it shows a little countdown that it releases in 1 hour and 17 minutes, meaning 11am ET. (I'm in New York)

Honest question, I'm not a cat lover, could I enjoy the game? I mean, is it a good game or is it a good game only if you are a cat lover?

Hmmm, Platinum trophy requires a speed run. Have to beat the game in under two hours.

Guess I'll be doing two playthroughs.

Clearly a dog person.

Seriously though, the Tom Marks (IGN) review hints at that aspect of the game as well, but not as negatively.

"In either case, moving around as a cat isn’t always quite as fluid as I hoped it would be. It’s fun to scamper up air conditioners mounted to the sides of buildings or walk along railings, but you don’t actually have a dedicated jump button to do any of that with. Instead, you can press a button to hop to predetermined interactable spots automatically when prompted. That means the only difficulty associated with any of the platforming is wrestling the camera into the right position to hop to the spot you want, and you don’t exactly move with the nimbleness of a cat once you do – though that’s partly the fault of the movement animations themselves, which can be noticeably stiff at times.

The linear sections are still quite enjoyable despite their straightforward ease, kept interesting to the end of the five hours it took me to beat Stray by constantly introducing fresh ideas and environments. There are exciting chase scenes as you run from mutated creatures called Zurks, stealth sections as you avoid security drones, and puzzles where you might have to lure the enemy AI to your advantage. Not all of these ideas are as successful as others – the weakest of them gives you a weapon to kill the Zurks, which quickly devolves those previously tense encounters into a pattern of killing a few and then running backwards while you recharge it over and over – but they are all clever enough to refresh the platforming throughout."

While I'm sure we've all seen videos of spectacular cat fails, most of the time cats are very agile and dexterous. It wouldn't be much of a cat game if you were constantly failing jumps.
The first 40 minutes alone would be trial and error deathtrap jumps which would kill the vibe the game is going for.
I'm enjoying it so far, but my kitty owning ass is probably a bit biased.

Enjoying it soo far, still very early in game but as a cat lover Hands down to this, super cute and fun,the only thing negative is lack of HDR and buttons prompt for sit and lay down.. this is obvious for screenshots 🥹
