just ordered the last of my "budget" upgrade since i dont think current high end intel and nvidia stuff is a good buy.

12700k bundle from micro center ($350, cpu + mobo + ddr5)
3090 ($700, like-new from amazon)
fsp hydro ti pro 1000w psu ($300, like-new because i cant find this psu new anywhere, and i wanted a solid atx3.0 psu for future builds)

should handle my backlog of games @4k w/ relative ease.
 
I got a bunch of external hardrives hooked to my desktop PC. Keep running out of space.
i like using old HDDs (for non-important data) from old builds just to see how long they'll last and the performance differences between all the drives.
i keep them inside the case though.

oldest drive is about 15 years old (120GB 5400rpm HDD from a laptop).
