Anecdotal evidence would be akin to you walking in one store, see a couple of guys walking out with Xboxes and extrapolate that Xbox won said month.

On a more serious note, I'll address some of your bold predictions. I mostly agree with your bold predictions, but a few I disagree with are #3 and #4. I think Uncharted 4 will break 1 million even without bundles. Also, I think DOOM will sell the most on the PS4 despite Uncharted 4 releasing in the same month. I'm also not sure if the PS4 will outsell the XB1 by 70K in May. It is a slow month after all.

70k is a bit Bold but I do think the end of the promotional price drop will heavily handicap XB1 for the month especially in comparison to last month that was likely infalted due to said promotion. I'm predicting a roughly 28% drop for XB1 as a result of the end of promotions coupled with trends in previous years and an 8% bump for PS4 as a result of limited bundles and big first and third party releases. I think the figures are fairly reasonable given the circumstances but I could also see how some would disagree.
As far as Doom goes there are three factors to consider here. The first is that this is a genre and gametype that generally appeals more to the XB1 user base on average than the PS4 user base. The second is that XB1 consumers might be actively looking for something new to play during the release of a much touted first party release on the comepting console and, finally, it seems like Overwatch has resonated much morewith the PS4 market than it has with the XB1 market so when looking at consumer spend across two big titles on PS4 for the month it is easy to see how Doom mught be the odd man out so to speak. Its also worth noting that every time I have picked XB1 to sell more copies at retail in the past it hasnt. So.... my track record is certainly not great as far as these sort of predictions are concerned but it wouldnt be fun if it wasnt at least a bit risky.

Well, I personally predicted a 60K gap between the two, so not that far off. I would go for a bigger gap, but when I do, most of the time, I overestimate the PS4. Yet, somehow, for the first two months of this year, I underestimated the gap. Such a pain.
As for DOOM, yep, I can definitely see your point. FPS games do resonate more with the XB1 demographic. However, I recall the PS4 version outselling the XB1 version in the UK? I don't know, for many things, I use results from the UK to gauge the potential results in the US.

Clearing stock for an xb1 mini that will straight up replace the original.
Having said that, this is a fucking firesale deal. Meaning that sales are poor, so the only way to actually clear stock is to have this bonkers deal.
I mean, look at what you're getting for 320. This does not show me a company happy with their sales.

Some people *unreasonably* expected a bigger retail opening but that was a wrong call. It will happen on NPD threads too because of the nature of the game.

Or they have too much in the channel to begin that if they did nothing, there wouldn't be enough space for a Slim model to stock properly. These deals are being done weeks before E3. Something is probably on the way for right after E3.
Not to mention Overwatch will have crazy legs the word of mouth around the game is very good.

They couldn't even beat PS4 last month with an official drop and tons of retailer deals. I'd say they aren't happy. If they don't have a new model at E3 sells will tank even further but even with a slim it's still all about games and PS4 has that in spades above the competition this year and next.

90% no. Including PC it will actually probably be close to that range. Above 70% wouldn't be surprising.

When was the last time a MS sale ended when it was supposed to? Even the major price drops were still available a few days after their cutoff point.
And this talk of clearing Stock for Xbox mini is nonsense. As stated in the original rumour thread, the Xbox mini is for smaller games, not XBO titles. There is only so much you can shrink these machines without coming into serious thermal issues, even now 3 years later.
And Scorpio is way too far off for clearing stock.
