I want McCain's senate seat.

I want as many senate seats as possible. 2018's map of senate seats to defend is downright brutal; we need the cushion. Getting as big a margin in the Senate as possible should be Priority #2, right after getting to 270.

It's remarkable, and the completely right move. He can't really un-fuck this one, all he can do is let it burn itself out. Imagine if Clinton sent out an angry tweet every day about the FBI unfairly attacking her rather than just waiting it out.

Priorities for the election:
1. Elected Hillary Clinton
2. Run the table of available Senate races and take back the senate
3. Expand Clinton's coattails to the point where we can make a legitimate run at the house.

Getting as high a number as possible is important because it would repudiate Trump. It would also put GOP even more on a defensive position with regards to their politics and approach.

Doesn't hurt to make Trump feel like a loser, to.

Of course then the Senate and also the House. If they can somehow capture the house, then they can tweak the ACA, pass immigration reform, and maaaaaybe do some small things on guns. A new infrastructure/jobs bill too, and of course raising min wage, raising some corporate/high income taxes, expanding SS. VRA. And SCOTUS of course

Oh my god there is so much shit that can theoretically get done if they get at least 2 years of control.

If the Dems take back the senate and the house, priority number one needs to be anti gerrymandering laws and campaign finance reform. Ram those through and try to legally level out the playing field.
