Just having a good time. Just got slammed with my former co-worker's workload. Now I'm doing twice the work without a raise. I figured jokes with the BCT fam would keep me from leaving work early.

I never said being against Japanese War Crimes made you a racist. I said White supremacy was the reason America was originally against Japan's empire building. Not because they were offended by Japan's crimes in China.

If not people round here are just gonna assume that almost anything save for some blatant racist shit like that Neenja music video arent racist or problematic, like theyre doing right now. Then ofc you're always gonna have the few people of said discriminated race saying that they dont feel that the thing is offensive, giving those people even more ammunition to back up their views.

Yeah, you have to, because there are some posters who actually end up learning something in those cases. Rare as that is, anyway, because a good portion of them seem too set in their ways. I don't understand the people who generally take that stance, "Oh, I'm this race/ethnic group and I don't find it racist so it can't be." Is it so hard to just be an ally, since it clearly bothers some of them?


As someone who isn't Asian, though, I'm never sure how to post in that situation without it coming off wrongly, though. Like how do I respectfully help. So I'm silently watching, but it hurts to look at. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I looked over that snapchat thread. I wasn't going to post because it is no use. You have very vocal people who would never admit that anything is racist. Trump's "Good ones" would have the same reaction most likely.

Some of AsianGAF seens too split, and then there are the "this isn't offensive" members who give excuse to problematic issues without expanding their reasons for.

Conservative (Constitution lovers) & White centrists are going all out excusing, deflecting, & rationalising that DOJ report on Baltimore PD systematically violating the Constitutional rights of Black citizens.
These are the types of people BLM thinks it can get sympathy & understanding from? Its over. We are all we got, group economics is the only way out.
