Do you know ICE TEAM? So they are simply the developers of the developers, they who structured a PS3, PS4 API, but also PS5 ... So according to these developers Cell did not have a GPU until 2004, so if you can argue with NaughtDog's ICE TEAM. .

I guess, if anyone here posted it, I missed the post where Foxy Games UK guy on Twitter (I refuse to post links to "insiders" these days) claims he spent nearly an hour hands on with a PS5... had to sign an NDA embargoed to a specific date... mentions limited quantities of the console which there won't be enough of to go around.

That guy has NEVER been right on anything that I know of. It reads like a conjured fiction incorporating all manner of current rumors(their silence, resurrected franchises, moneyhats, etc.)
No way a Random Guy with barely a following got access to whatever he's claiming. He's a clout chaser.
Not to mention signing an NDA *sometimes* prohibits you from acknowledging you signed one, but it at least stops you from dropping massive hints for certain.
My money is on a SoP on the 26th, same day as the CoD reveal. It'll come out of nowhere because it won't be a day they typically announce things such as a State of Play.
Other option is a Twitter slap of price and date and a madhouse rush to get a preorder. Yikes.

Also you can’t say “I signed an NDA” then you go on to drop hints. That’s not how NDA works.

Well, there could be a SoP then, but the price and pre-order thing.. I thought they were pretty clear during the Keighly Dualsense stream that they won't be doing a drive-by announcement like that. If that's true, it won't be part of any known event or one not set up by Sony themselves (My assumption).

The APU concept (CPU+GPU integrated on the same die) has been around since at least the PS2's Emotion Engine+Graphics Synthesizer (EE+GS)...
That "small kitten" was a savage beast...
ferocious enough to make straw out of a Geforce 8 series (G80) GPU in a ray-tracing fight. Barry Minor (Visualization Architect on the CELL project) showed that one CELL was 4-5x faster at RT than a G80 GPU, despite having half the FLOPS...
So at the last minute and yes it was in 2004 they called NVidia and:
Sony: we need a GPU.

Not really, to be honest. The Game has been done for a few months. When did it release, mid-June? When did it go gold before that, mid-May?
You bump up a few values for Grounded difficulty, or add an IF flag for permadeth ("if die = go to chapter 1" etc.) That's oversimplifying it, sure.
But in the time from then to now, SuckerPunch have finished and released their game, and built a MP mode from the ground-up.
We're in August, ND have until PS5's launch in Nov to hammer out a MP DLC. They've said they're not working on story DLC, for instance. I would expect to see TLOU Factions MP game as a launch game, or launch window. Summer 2021 is so far past that, I would wonder what Neil's been doing for a year since the initial release of the game. Deflecting backlash from the narrative choices, perhaps?

the gameplay of tlou2 is solid, and you need bare minimum story setup/voice over lines for MP, you could even pull a L4D2 and port the TLOU1 MP levels into TLOU2 for instance.
If I were waiting until this time next year, yes, I'd deffinately want to know what Neil had been doing all that time since the game went gold.

He is claiming a "rep" played with the PS5 in front of him, then they showed him a 90 second trailer... and that he.. a low level YouTuber.. had to both sign an NDA and couldn't take any sort of footage...what exactly is the purpose of the visit then? Only reason influencers get involved in something is for promotion, so they show something on a video,etc..

I think they were good (haven't got around to finishing rise yet), my favorite parts of the first one were the tombs. If I had a critique it would be that the frequent action sequences are repetitive. I would love to see a new trilogy with all the new tech but with a greater emphasis on puzzle solving.
