If the Remake has new story, weapons, or quests could be interesting, If its just a graphical upgrade for PS5 wont touch it since you can play remaster on PS5.

This is the big question isn't it? If this is some kind of reimagining with bigger and better realised locations more akin to TLOU2 with that titles improved mobility and controls. Then it may well be worth taking ND's time from other projects in development, if its literally just a graphics upgrade then count me out, hopefully it's the former.

Weird to see a Remake this early.
I was put off by that too but a remake of TLOU (using the TLOU2 engine) at least allows me to play the better game of the two with the new and improved engine. Essentially a win cause I'm not going to touch TLOU2 ever again.

Really hope that MP game is less TLOU1 Factions and more open world like GTAO/RDO (with roleplaying / survival elements).

They've been working on this for some time now. I'm really hoping all this time in development means they are doing something interesting with the multiplayer. Maybe it's something more than just deathmatch.

I’m not a fan of TLOU, I don’t have any issues with it but it’s just a game I didn’t get around to playing.

My brother on the other hand loves it, he’s must have done several playthroughs by now and got the platinum trophy too. He’s been begging me for a while now to play it, and I was planning too but then Jason Schrier leaked that it was getting a remake.

Apparently it’s no ordinary remake either, Jason did mention in an article that it was using an “expensive” graphics engine for the PS5 which even made Herman Hulst reluctant on green lighting the project.

Regardless if ND can deliver a fully fledged next-gen experience on what people consider to be one of the greatest games in the last decade then hell sign me up!

Wow this first screenshot of the PS5 version showing Abby looks very realistic.

The remake was already greenlighted and under development at San Diego when Hermen got promoted. He thought they were spending too much money on the project, which was more than they spent in previous remakes.

Please Tom, if you want me to believe your next bullshit... tell me first where's new Bully project you teased last month?
I think Tom has zero inside info and his quote comes because in the CES Sony game reel video appear an image of the first TLOU and Druckmann mentioned to have multiple projects for this year (we know the Uncharted Thieves Collection and TLOU MP are coming soon too).

This surely is the most overhyped game in the history of games. I know taste is subjective and mileages may vary but I dropped this one halfway through and never looked back. It was just sooo boring and tedious to play, not to mention creatively bankrupt.

A remake of a remaster of a game that is less than ten years old. Creative bedrock?

Not only people who play games don't watch TV, they also don't read... And when they do, they can't process information.
It's been explained ad nauseam how this project came to be.

Sorry man he didn't write the game. Check the credits.
Don't move the goalposts. Just because someone isn't credited doesn't mean they weren't involved in the process. Take a look at all the interviews where both Straley and Druckmann mention each other's involvement in the writing.

I think the bigot sandwiches thing was actually mainly there to reinforce how unforgiving and unreasonable Ellie is. There's no doubt that the game's central theme is a study of those sorts of attitudes, and not in a good way.
That's a good point.

I mean, where tha hell Ellie learn this word, taking into consideration those terms born in the Trump election, by Twitter/Facebook explosive duel between left and right.

IDK if making me hate Ellie was part of the plan to promove Abby, but indeed the vocabulary of this game is a case of study. They acted like social media/twitter/facebook was a thing inside TLOUS world.

Sorry not sure what you mean? Was there some weirdly anachronistic language or something?

Nah you are reading too much into it. That was just Neil trying to score some woke points.
